Okay, I was sitting looking at Eventide Previews and Speculations of Alara, and I was thinking about our "As Gaia turns" Characters as Magic Cards... It makes me kinda laugh. What I have so far is.
T = Tap (You tap a card to do stuff, for those non-players)

Any suggestions from those who play MAgic and know some cards. And this is BEFORE the Evolving item attacks. I'm also thinking of doing items, so what item(s) is/are most important to your character?

I'll pick the one to be done, then high-light it. The reason is, I think more than one character has a scouter so I might just make it a general "item".
The bold item is the "Top" Favored item, that will have your name in the card's artifact.

EXAMPLE:
Life's Lute
Color: Colorless
Legendary ARtifact - Equipment
Abilities:
T; (Mana Cost): Gain Control of all non-Legendary creatures until end of turn.
Life's Lute does not untap during your untap step.

Ummmmmmmmm. I believe that my most important item is the summoning tome. I believe. And yeah, LC is half demon, half elf. Her magic can be either black or white, cause of her half-ness, and she has super strength, speed, and can fly when she taps into her demon powers fully, which she trys not to do often since she can be...destructive. I believe that's it.

Because of hte lovevly BK I started working on making "As Gaia Turns" into a Magic Set.... I know sad.. so I Want your opinion.
Should Evolving items be Artifacts or Enchantments?
Should they have an ability that puts tokens into play or should they have to fulfill a requirement to become something (Token, Equipment, etc)?

Example:
Should it be

Artifact (or Enchantment)
At the beginning of your upkeep put an evolution counter on Orindae.
2: Remove 3 Evolution counters from Orindae; Put a 3/3 Green Frog Creature token into play.

OR

At the beginning of your upkeep put an evolution counter on Orindae.
If you have 3 or more Evolution Counters on Orindae you may sacrifice it to put into play.

the could be the token from the first card... The prince. I don't know. Any help? I really want Evolving items to be cool since it is a part of our storyline.

My most important items are probably the staff, ice lance, and dagger for now since that's all I use for attack and defence, well maybe the gloves.
