So, who do you think it is?
I'm not sure I believe it a whole lot, but the idea of gnostic mysticism is interesting.
It could be Bush, but he's too obviously evil. Plus, the antichrist is supposed to be intelligent. Cheney perhaps, or one of the corporate pentagon warmongers behind the scenes? Also possible.
But it could be the idea of an antichrist- That itself has been justification for millions of deaths or enslavements. Or capitalism.

While this may be true, it doesn't exclusively have to be that way.
The bible says a lot of things, and not very clearly.

There is no Anti-Christ. I doubt there will ever be one. You can apply that title to many a tyrant or "bad guy" throughout human history since the idea of an Anti-Christ came into being. Thats my take.
Though I find it an amusing insult when its directed at me.

And what does that have anything to do with the Anti-Christ coming from Europe? ...My Lord, Savior, and Friend It doesn't TELL you to, but it says that one is ALLOWED to beat a slave, so long as it survives the beating with no permanent injury or death. And this goes to show, for one example of many, that not everything in the bible is relevant to this world.

1) There will be an antichrist. It says so in the bible. If you don't believe me, go to biblegateway.com and search antichrist.
2) There are many antichrists. "It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist—he denies the Father and the Son." 1st John 2:22 It also includes anybody who does not believe that Jesus Christ came to Earth in the flesh.
3) The antichrist has been in the world for centuries. Any moment could be the last hour. At any time God could end the world. So I don't see any point in worrying about when the world will end, or who the antichrist is or anything like that. I plan on just spreading the word of God and sharing his grace mercy and love with all those who don't know him or who have forgotten him.

Well, take a look at Hitler. For a time there he was seen as charming, a man who would give his all for his country, for his people. For his beloved wife Germany. He charmed many, was loved by so many for a time. Look how far his charm has reached through the years throughout the world. He still has his followers. smile Sure he was revealed to be a real dirtbag to but it nicely and he was not loved worldwide, but you can take those traits and apply it to him. You could it with Nero. Romans loved him for a time, the Roman Empire loved him. A lot of cruel and terrible Roman Emperors were loved by their people. Of course the ones that mattered to those guys but still. And well, when the part of the Anti-Christ was written, no one there knew America existed. America wasn't America until the 1600s. At least thats the name given to the continents. And then 1776 when the US came about... centuries away from the man who wrote of the Anti-Christ's coming. So it is possible that the Anti-Christ, if he ever existed or will exist, can come from here. Sometimes, with the bible, you need to take in account when those books were written to try and apply it to present times.

hey i just found out i am a member of this guild YEAH!
the antichrist is a women hater because he or she is jealous of our Father' s design to have gifted women with the power of creation. where will it come from anywhere it scouts the earth but my bet is Iraq known as the cradle of civilization and the Biblical location of the Garden Of Eden it seeded its plan there the plan to revenge God and it will be from there it cries victory
