It was early morning as the sun was just beginning to rise over the Soquili lands. Those who walked during the daylight hours were just starting to stir from slumber, while those who lived under the moon retreated into the shadows to rest.
It was under a small apple tree where a small, orange/pink colt was sleeping away as the world passed by. He mumbled softly and shifted to his side slightly, brightly colored flutter wings unfolding and spreading out across the damp grass. Ears flicked slightly as a heavy snort and a string of drool came from the colt; a silly grin spreading across his face.
"Hm.....Hehehe, Riyaz gets the shiny...."

 Morning; a new day for training and learning new things had begun. Stretching her legs at the first flicker of sunlight, the little ninja-in-training named Kunai set out about her schedule. Equipped with her trusty kunai she wanted to begin learning new things as soon as they made themselves known. Hiding in the shadows, knowing a good opponent, finding the right direction... all perfect muses to keep her thinking. She above all was out to please her two teachers, making her look good in their eyes and want to teach her even more techniques to becoming the perfect ninja.
Moving with ease she blinked the sleepiness away as her feet carried her toward an apple tree. There she spied a strange foal sort of like her grandmother with bigger wings. He was very bright and distracting as she moved quietly over to observe this new interest that perked her attention. Silent like the ninja. She mused to herself sneaking up toward him wondering just what he was doing.

Riyaz suddenly bolted upwards out of the realm of slumber, yelling something about giant apples chasing him. Glancing rapidly from left to right, the colt calmed down once he realized that the dream wasn't real. Shifting so he could stand, Riyaz shook himself out before reaching down to grab at the stick laying nearby.
Visual bite marks were scattered across it, making it obvious that this was an object he used frequently.
Riyaz burst into a wide smile. "No giant apple monsters today!" A laugh rang out before he scampered over to a small puddle of water near the tree.

Kunai paused blinking in wonder at this colt that had caught her attention. She hissed in her breath to remain quiet as her small hooves dug into the earth keeping her poised and still if she needed to fight this "odd" individual. Odd. Yeah that's what came to mind... though honestly her with the whole ninja look was probably in the same light to this strange colt.
Moving after him she followed like a hunter stalking prey, a good practice to gain the upper hand in observation of others. But honestly this was boring... she wanted to meet this strange fellow. Giving up on her training she stepped out and let her presence be known, "What are you doing? Giant apple monsters?" She couldn't help but ask for it was the weirdest thing she had ever heard.
