At the end of the last great time war both the daleks and the time lords were wiped out. All of them save for one man, the Doctor. the one man who was able to protect everything else. One Brilliant man.
Or so he thought. On many occasions since the war has he been proven wrong by the Daleks. Many times has he been faced with those who could not have survived but did, and yet not one. not a single Time lord ever managed to escape. The Doctor was the last of the time lords, with the incompetant exception of the Master, of course. Or so he thought.
Across space and time rifts open as those who were thrown sideways through time in the great time war are accidentally throttled out into the universe once more.
