After much frustration, I decided to take the initiative and make this long-needed thread. If Crimson doesn't like it, he can delete it.
Well, as the title indicates, this thread will be dedicated to guild announcements. Please check this thread at least weekly. Here, we'll be posting important info regarding the guild updates, recruiting, changes, suggestions, warnings and anything else that might fit. This way we won't have to make a whole new thread for one specific announcement.
(11/19/06) Chris again. Added a new sub-forum because I am obsessive about that sort of thing. I paid for it out of my own pockets because I am totally rad like that.

Now, I'll get the ball rolling.
If you have an idea for an RP, don't hesitate to start it up. You don't need approval, just post it. If a mod sees it unfit in the guild (or breaking a rule) we'll take care of it.
The bottom line is WE NEED RPs!
So, start up one, join others and maybe we can get this guild officially up and running with what it's being advertised as, instead of filled with nonsense threads.

Guids are back! Yay! I hope the down-time gave people time to think up some RPs... ^^
Now with the new post systems, RPing should get more interesting. The dice rolling system looks really nice and usefull. I'm glad the downtime has shown some very neat results. Yay to backness!

I know there have been some concerns about RPs and such, and I'd just like to say this: if we can get at least one going, then we can use it as a launching pad for inspiration, recruitment and other such. I suggest joining "Mahou Shoujo Makai Bengonin Desu! - Season One". Keiri's talent in running RPs has been proven twice before with the largely successfull (if a tad small) Dark Ages which sadly died before the guild changed to what it is now. So if the past is any hint, this new RP should be quite good.

Its me!
Well, ive decided to start organizing our guild in hopes to get it going again. So i would like you to notice our subforums!
Our loony random ones are in the obvious one.
And the Test Rp's. If you have a new idea for an Rp, post in there. Its to see if itll become active or not, cause id rather not have tests lying around everywhere you know?
If you wish to donate to the guild id be ever so happy, and so would the orphan

Mod only page: So we mods can discuss things
Archived Rps: So the good ones can be saved and looked at, and for us to study what went wrong and how we can fix it later on.

Ok guys, I have a thought, and i was wanting you to give me feed back.
Two ideas came across my mind yesterday, and i would like to see if they are good ideas. Keep in mind i plan to pay for these with my own money.
Idea 1: We make a subforum speifically to help with character design. Not stats, but profiles. Give examples and whatnot. You know, have specialized threads for it. I've noticed ive been getting worse at them so yea.
Idea 2: We create Subforums for each of our Real life RP's *Random Anime, WtF, MtA, VtM, HtS *to come soon*, WoD.* I dunno...just give me feed back and if this is a crappy post feel free to delete. I was just wondering, like i tend ot be lately..

I revamped the guild structure by moving around many threads. We now have four Subforums- RP Unrelated, Mods Only, Other RPs, and RPG Construction. here's a quick rundown of what each subforum has.
Main Page- Here will be all of our active RPs and other related threads.
RP Unrelated- Anything not RP related. Duh. It has our pic topics, anime talk, free talk, and other random threads.
Mods Only- This is where the general public is not allowed. It's where we're keeping our personal group info, such as get-togethers and Pen and Paper RPG info. They're in here mostly to help not make the rest of the guild feel left-out.
Other RPs- Here is where our inactive or locked RPs are. Eventually, after the guild has been completely reformatted, we will decide a specific time length in which an RP is considered unactive. Once it reaches this status, it will be moved here. If it becomes active again, it will be moved back to the main page.
RPG Construction- Come here to build your role-playing skills, discuss ideas, work on creating your own RP or RPG and other such. No actual role-playing, just discussion.

Okay, I've sat idle through this long enough. At first, I was just happy to see that the guild was becoming active once again, but now that we have three running RPs and (hopefully) a fourth soon, the guild is in need of some modding.
*cracks knuckles*
The off-topic posting is going to have to stop. It's nice to add an off-topic comment once in a while, but when threads get filled with nonsense, we have a problem. It was fine for a while, but now I'm stepping in.
Don't get me wrong. I'm thrilled that everybody is posting and having a good time, but we have threads and even a full subforum for off-topic posting. It's called RPG Unrelated, specifically, Any Talk. Please use it. I will begin deleting off-topic posting if it becomes a problem.
It may be a good idea for everybody to swing by the Rules thread on the main page, just to refresh themselves on what's cool do do here.
Thank you all for your support, and please continue to enjoy the guild (join in an RP or two! biggrin )
