Several days had drifted by since the event of Oak growing into a bigger... tree human. It was rather difficult for Kyo to deeply explain what his son was. He was part tree, but also part human... so he couldn't really be a treant... they aren't human from what he had learned. Ever since that day Oak had been acting rather strange at least from his perspective...
Carefully Oak lifted his right hand up toward his face as the two walked side by side down a dusty road covered partially with fall foliage left over. He focused and concentrated on it. Everything about it looked different, but it didn't feel any different than before. Had this sudden change of form happened to him before? Kyocho had already explained different stages that humans and elves went through and kind of compared himself to it, but the way it happened it different. It felt like a nightmare, but it also felt like a dream. Ever since then he tried to speak with animals and plants of all different species and sizes. So far he could understand bits and pieces, but not a full conversation quite yet. That would have to take at least a few months maybe years of practice.
The two of them presumed they were both all alone on this little path that ran through the forested mountains. All of the path was covered in shade, except for the few holes in the canopy that draped it's self over the two wanderers as they both contemplated life and it's sudden and surprising changes it has.

Armel carried his sister in his arms as he made his way along the forested path glancing around while answering her questions as they came out. He used his patient big brother tone as he spoke with his sister as he took in the splendor of nature surrounding him.
“What’s that?” Kaveri asked pointing to brightly colored caterpillar edging it’s way up a low branch that they were standing near as they came to a brief resting stop. Kaveri gave a small squeak as Armel lifted her higher so she can observe the caterpillar even better.
“Tha’ is a caterpillar, Kav. They eat leaves n’stuff,” he said with a small amused chuckle as he watched the caterpillar as well. It was a fat little thing wriggling its way along to some place or another, “Soon, it’ll turn into a pretty butterfly.”
Kaveri knew what butterflies were, in fact she liked them and thought them to be quite pretty, “Ooooh! Can we catch it and watch it grow?”
The ram-horned boy settled his sister back into his arms and shook his head, “Not t'day, Kav, we didn’t bring anything t’keep it safe in.”
The small nagi made a disappointed face but accepted the fact that the caterpillar must remain in the wild where she had found it.

The two continued to walk side by side in silence. Neither of them said a word to each other, but they knew what each other were thinking. Kyo was pondering how this whole thing works with these... so called ghosts and the HQ and the past battles that had taken place. It was surely odd and strange of all these things to happen.
Oak was pondering about dreams and what they meant and especially about his dreams the other night. What did they mean... He couldn't wait to give his new abilities a try and what perfect place to do that than the forest?
Kyo looked up from his down ward gaze and noticed two figures out in the distance. The snake like creature looked familiar... not just from what he had read in books, but she looked like she belonged to the HQ. "Lets go great those two.." The elf whispered lightly in Oak ears.
"Ok.." Oak looked up and nodded... still a look of unsure lingered on his face.
As the two approached Kyo began to raise his lips... "Hey there!" The elf called out. Waving one of his hands in the air.

Armel and Kaveri both canted their head over to the voice almost in unison. The youth, who held his sister, shifted her to one arm, somewhat clumsily, and lifted a hand up to wave a greeting to the voice.
Kaveri struggled a bit and then went still. It seemed like a better idea for the moment as her brother began to move forward to greet the voice up ahead of them. She leaned her face up to her brother’s pointed ear, “Who are they, big brother?” the Nagi whispered softly to him.
The ram-horned boy shrugged flashing his golden eyes at her with a small smile, “Dunno, but we’ll find out, right?”
Energetically the girl nodded wearing a wide happy grin. She liked meeting people.

"Something about you guys seem a little familiar," The elf smiled looking down at the Naga like girl in the ram-horned boy's arms, "I get a feeling that this little Naga is from the HQ." Kyo bluntly said without realizing he was speaking his own thoughts out loud as his face turned a deep red. "Oops.. sorry I didn't mean to assume.."
Oak looked up from the ground and stared blankly at his guardian, "Sorry about that Kyo doesn't know where he is half the time" Oak nodded with a smile, "My name is Oak and this is my guardian Kyocho."

Armel gave the elf stranger a somewhat of a distrusting look for a moment or two before looking at his charge and then back again and it seemed then he had decided to trust the elf. "Aye, my sister is from that place. Her name is Kaveri. My name is Armel, pleased t'meet ye," he muttered a bit gruffly. "T's alright, can't be too careful is all."
Kaveri giggled at her brother as he acted superstitious of the motives of the people before them. She felt her big brother was far too protective when he didn't need be. "Hi!" She said simply with a bright smile.

Oak smiled and waved at the little snake like girl... what was it Kyo called her? A Naga? Oak some what recalled a memory of reading about a race of snake like people called Naga's in a book he quickly glanced through while the two of them were at the library. The more and more he began to think about it the more he realized that Kyo was giving him a bit too advanced books.. "I read too much..." Oak thought out loud to himself, but in an almost silent voice.
Kyo smiled and nodded to the both of them, "It is very nice to meet you two, what are you guys doing all the way out here?"

Armel glanced at Oak a moment before simply shrugging at the muttering before his golden eyes turned back to Kyo. "Just takin' a walk wi' m'sister cause I figure our Da' could use a bit o' a rest." He offered a small smile and a shrug, "I can take care of us well." The ramhorned boy offered with a prideful sniff.
Kaveri giggled at her brother before she wriggled against him. It was a subtle sign of wanting to be put down. When Armel finally obliged and she was on the ground she moved over toward Oak looking up at him, "Play wi' me!"

Oak didn't know how to react with some one else child. He was used to being around Kyo's other kids, but he was already used to them. "Umm.. ok" Oak mumbled as he kneeled and sat down on the ground. He was then eye level with Kaveri. "Hi, my name is Oak." The tree boy whispered.
Introductions were good.. right?
"Your doing a great job!" Kyo nodded with a smile at Armel. Feeling a bit obligated to compliment the ramhorned boy, since it is always nice to be recognized for what you can do well.

Kaveri grinned cheerfully at Oak as he introduced himself, "Ohh-ak," she mimicked his name back at him clumsily before she told him her name, "'m Kaveri!" Obviously the small girl had heard her name enough to repeat her name at others with a practiced tone.
His pride having been smoothed over Armel nodded a bit, "Thanks, so why are you guys out here?" the ram-horned boy asked calmly trying to be sociable even though the man before him is obviously an adult.

Oak returned the grin, "It's nice to meet you!", he then looked around the two of them and saw a stray wild flower hanging out next to the walk way. Strange that it was here all by it self... it must have drifted on the wind currents as a seed and lost its way. Oak closed his eyes and said a few silent words as he plucked it from the ground. He stared deeply at it then turned to Kaveri and smiled. "Here you go," The tree boy whispered as he handed Kaveri the flower.
"Oak feels more at home here, then he does cooped up inside our home," Kyo nodded with a ting of worry on his face. "Plus we have one to many living with us so it's like a little get away and personal time for him." The elf looked down to Oak and smiled at his good gesture, "How about you guys," Kyo returned his glance to Armerl, "what are you guys doing out here?"

Kaveri widened her eyes in delight as she reached for the flower that was handed to her, "Thanks you!" she cooed softly as she held onto it, the bracelets on her wrists sliding down her forearms with a soft chime as they hit each other. It was so pretty and the nice boy gave it to her! How kind he was indeed. She leaned and gave the flower a good sniff and smiled cheerfully. Kaveri felt the need to give the nice boy a gift back but what...?
Armel tilted his head as he observed the interaction between the boy and his sister before he turned his attention to Kyo once more, "Me an' sis got a bit bored at home so we went for a hike," the ram-horned boy explained quietly in a gruff tone and a shrug, "an' now we're talkin' t'you," the golden eyed boy said simply with a small hum afterward. At least they seemed nice enough and harmless, he could afford to let some of his guard down.
Kaveri still struggled a bit as to what to give the boy in return with a bit of a 'nn' to her tone before she finally moved and took off one of her bracelets to the boy, "Here, here! Gifties!"
