 Zaicate decides that she needs some time away from her children and her mate so she just took off without a word to her mate. She spent a day running through the forests and across the meadows, knowing where she wanted to go.. to the place near the mountains where her parents resides. Not knowing that she is going to meet a 'ghost' of her past and finding something out that will probably shock the coat right off her body.
As the familiar scents began to engulf her senses, Zaicate finally slowed down her ground-eating gallop to exhausted walking gait. The mare is very exhausted but she felt good that she got hard-core work out without the distractions of her children or mate. The heavily pregnant mare is on the outskirts of her parents' home, feeling satisfied that they were shocked but pleased to hear that they are going to be grandparents once again. Zaria hears the familiar sound which is her sister's voice and she grins dryly to herself. Zaicate is one of her 'idols' when she was a filly and strives to be like her which she succeeded but with a twist of her personality thrown in.
Zaria takes in a deep breath as she eyes the familiar black figure with red stripes all over it approaching her 'hiding' place. She glances up at the skies with her pale lavender eyes, willing herself not to look so bitter and surly because she is saddled with children inside her and a stallion that refuse to leave at all.

 He'd been spending a lot of time wandering away from home, exploring every bit of the forest he could and, in general, having a damned good time with his life. He knew, of course, that he couldn't stay away forever and it was today that found him making his way back 'home'. He wasn't sure who he'd find there but he was sure it would at least be interesting anyways... Last he'd heard one of his older sisters had given birth to foals.

 Apparently Zaicate have other 'form' and that is the mountain lion that looks exactly like her except for the sky blue eyes. Marratu was very happy to flee with Zaicate because the foals of her companion insists on using her as pouncing doll or punching bag. She had no choice but to take it because she promised Zaicate that she will look after them but usually she will be found in the tree, frazzled and bloodied after roughhousing with foals or running away from them.
Marratu is already ahead of Zaicate, perching on the branch lazily waiting for her to catch up with the mountain lion. She cocks her head to side as she sees Zaniel walking under her and she smirks dryly wondering if this is Zaicate's brother. "I am certain you are the brother of my companion..." She began to speak with a slight smirk on her face.--------- Zaicate is taking her sweet time catching up with her mountain lion because she is exhausted from running virtually all day. She could see the tree with her mountain lion in it and a familiar figure under it then she finally realized that this is her younger brother. "Zaniel? or is that Obsianus? I can't seem to keep the name to the face since I haven't seen you in so long!" She playfully calls out to Zaniel. But she doesn't know that her young son took off after her as well and is few feet away from her in the bushes.------- Zaria stays silent as she watches Zaicate noticing Zaniel. She knows that she rather to watch the scene unfold in front of her eyes before she go in to greet them and catch up on the news then shock the living crap out of them about the news of her being a mother. She used to be so adamant about having children and she is doing what she vowed that she won't do in her lifetime. A slight dry smile appears on her muzzle as she felt one of the foals kicking her ribcage and she turns around to nuzzle her stomach to calm the foals down. "Be calm, little ones.." She whispers to her offspring, finding herself falling in love with the idea of being a mother.

He snorted softly, giving his head a light toss before turning towards the sound of the voices that had greeted him. "Mm... And which of my three sisters are you that you can't remember the better looking of your two brothers?" He smirked. "Good to see you too, sister. Spending time away from those little monst-- Er... Foals of yours?"

"Don't correct yourself, Zaniel.. they are monsters, regardless what Zaicate and Shizuka is telling everybody." Marratu mutters to Zaniel as she suddenly leaps down on Zaniel's back, peering down at the brother. "You need to pull some of your weight around and babysit them sometimes. Heaven knows that I need a break." The mountain lion sits on the hunches with a grin toward Zaniel. Her slender body is covered with 'battle scars' that is visible or not visible to the naked eyes due to her babysitting Zaicate's little hellions.

Zaicate rolls her eyes with a laugh as she grins up at her brother. "You dork." She comments as she suddenly shouldered her brother in the side (or at least try to) for calling her little children monsters. She arches her eyebrow at Marratu and Zaniel with a slight smirk on her face. "I can't help it if they got my personality down pat. And to answer your question, yes.. I am spending time away from my little angels. And I thought it would be fun to hunt down my siblings and make them babysit them." She teases Zaniel then she sniffs the air slightly. "Hm.. familiar scent.." She murmurs to Zaniel as she smiles faintly. "I think our princess have arrived." She sarcastically says.

Zaria watches Zaniel and Zaicate interact with each other, feeling little bit grateful that the irritating mountain lion of her older sister didn't pick up on her scent and drag her out of the hiding. But in due time, she will get 'sniifed' out or discovered by either the mountain lion or one of her siblings so she mentally prepares herself to move out of her hiding. She freezes as she sees Zaicate's muzzle crinkle up couple of the time and murmured something to Zaniel, she couldn't catch what Zaicate is saying. Not pushing any of her luck, Zaria decided to stay behind the 'curtain' of the leaves and watch.

"Pull my own weight where they're concerned?" He laughed at that, shaking his head. "Oh, no. I'm not going to get roped into that... I haven't gone and done anything to gain foals of my own, so there's no reason why I should have to watch 'em. Your foals, your problem." He smirked, turning his head so that he could tug lightly at his sister's mane with his teeth.
"Hmm..." He turned his head after a moment. "Marra, why don't you go see if you can track down what Zaicate has caught scent of?"

Marratu eyes Zaniel, not sure if she should take requests from him and she slowly tilts her head to side. "I am not a wolf or a dog, Zaniel." She frowns at the stallion in disapproval then her nose crinkles up when she smells Zaria's smell. "But this should be easy for me anyway.." She murmurs as she gracefully leaps down from the branch and trots the short distance toward the hiding place. "Oh Zari-aaaaaa" The female mountain lion calls out in sing-songy voice. "Come out, you have one set of siblings that misses you so much." She says with partial sarcasm then she blinks when she smells something different. "Zaria..?" She moves out of the way when the mare comes out of 'hiding. "Whoa... dude.. you have gotten fat!" She eyes Zaria suspiciously. "Zaniel!! Zaicate!! you guys better come over here!" She shouts over to the duo.

Zaicate sticks her tongue out at Zaniel with a grin on her face. "But you are their uncle and I think they are entitled to some bonding time with their uncle" She counters with a huge mischievous grin on her face. "And don't you lie to me and say you have no desire of meeting your nephews and niece at all..." She waggles her eyebrows at him and tilts her head to side when her mane gets tugged. she blows raspberry at her brother then turns around when Marratu calls for them.
"Looks like Zaria is out.. and she seems different to me." She glances at Zaria but couldn't tell whats up with her. She looks at Zaniel with a shrug then she calls out to Zaria, "Hey!1 Come over here!"

Zaria's muzzle wrinkles up in distaste as she sees the mountain lion making her way over to her spot after talking with her sibling duo. She knew that one of them sent Marratu over to fish her out and she sighs while glowering at Marratu. She blew a small puff of air as she reluctantly steps out of her hiding spot. "Well looks like I ...." She trails off as she shot Marratu a very dangerous glare as the lion called her fat. "I am pregnant.. thank you very much, now just be a nice kitty and go and chase a mouse" She retorted to the lion. She hears her sister's voice calling her over and she sighs, while starting to make that exhausting walk over there. Being pregnant can really wear a mare out.

"If they're anything like their mother..." He smirked, shaking his head before trotting after his sister, pausing when he saw Zaria. "Holy sh--..." He coughed, shaking his head again, almost in disbelief. "Both of you? Good grief. The world's coming to an end... As if it wasn't bad enough that Zaicate went and had spawn... Now you too?" He smirked, trying not to laugh.

Marratu's upper lip curls up in a soundless snarl as she bristles at Zaria for insulting her like this. But she knows that the said brother will distract Zaria from her with something as she lazily wanders over to a nearby tree, extending her claws. "I think I need a basket of mouses because this is going to be fun." She sarcastically says as she arches her back inward while she sharpens her claws against the tree bark. Her ear flicks back as she hears Zaniel's voice and she grins widely. "As always, I am always right." She murmurs to herself as she leaps up into the tree to settle down and watch the show.

Zaicate's face froze in shock as she suddenly stops when she sees that Zaria is swollen due to the pregnancy. "I echo your first partial statement, Zaniel.." She murmurs as she eyes her younger sister in disbelief. "Little Zaria.. who did this to you? do you want me to kill him for you?" She suggests then she quirks her eyebrow at Zaniel with an amused smile on her face. "Spawn? do you really think lowly of your sisters?" She pouts playfully at him before she suddenly tries to kick him in hind leg for calling her children 'spawn'. "What about you, Zanny? are you going to find a mate and finally settle down?" She sticks her tongue out at him.

Zaria tries to smile at her siblings in greeting but their reactions to her pregnancy infuriates her to no end. The pregnant mare frowns and glares at Zaniel and Zaicate without saying anything for while because she really wants to beat her brother up so badly. She moves toward Zaniel with her pregnant stomach swinging slightly then she suddenly snaps at Zaniel's face. "Don't act too dramatic, Zaniel. The world is not going to end.. it is going to become more better because us giving birth to children." She says with a huff and she scowls at him. "You are lucky I can't run fast and far to chase you and kill you right now." She eyes her brother. "But after I give birth, you better watch out.." She warns him.

"I'd better watch, had I?" He smirked. "You'd have to run pretty fast to catch me, Zaria... And I've heard it takes a good while to get that weight off." He gave his head a light toss as he stepped back, making sure that he was well out of range of being kicked or nipped for anything he said.
"You're the one who's been talking about needing a break from your little ones, Zaicate. Is it you that they take after or do they get all of this fuss from their father?" His brow lofted. "Have either of you brought your boys home to meet our father? Or Mother, for that matter?"

Zaicate blinks at Zaniel's comments then she chuckles quietly with a huge grin on her face. "Looks like you just painted a target sign on your butt, Zaniel. You should know better than to make that kind of comments toward Zaria." She says in an amused tone as she glances at Zaria to see what she will do. "Naturally I need a break from my children.. all of the parents usually wants to take a break from their kids. Mother tried to make me babysit you brats when you guys were foals." She sticks her tongue out at Zaniel.
"Maybe they did take after me.. maybe not, who knows? all you have to do is come over and find out." She grins widely at him as she stares at her brother. "To answer your question, yes my mate have met our dear father but have yet to meet our mother." She shrugs as she looks at him.

Zaria immediately glowers darkly at Zaniel as a low growl ripped from her throat. "You are going to die, my dear brother.. I am going to kick your a** from the moon and back and make sure that you will not be capable of making children." She threatens Zaniel as she tries to snap at him once again. She scowls at him as she rolls her eyes in disgust. "No.. I don't think Pilgrim is ready to meet my parents ." She says scathingly as she glances at Zaicate. "Its because he is too weak and whimpery for my taste and I don't know if I am going to stay with him after the children becomes adults" Zaria adds silently to herself with a frown creasing her forehead without her knowing that she is frowning. "Zaniel.. have you met any ladies at all or are you gay?' She smirks at him.

"Yeah, yeah... You can kick my a** all you want once you don't have to worry about hurting your little ones while you're chasing after me." He nodded slowly, leaning over to give Zaria a light nuzzle. "Don't worry... I'm sure your little monsters will be every bit as beautiful as Zaicate's."
He laughed, shaking his head. "No, not gay. I think mares are beautiful creatures... I'm just not going out of my way to get intimate with one. There's too much world to see. Not ready to find myself tied to one place with little hooves and angry mares."

Zaicate rolls her eyes at Zaniel as he coins her children as her little monsters which is not too far away from a fact. She smirks at the stallion as she tugs on his mane fondly to remind him that she is not pregnant and could get him for their dear sister. "Uh huh.. so you are going to play the field eh? Well just make sure you don't bring home any little monsters and shock me to death." She smirks at her brother. "How would you know if my children are beautiful or not? You haven't met them yet, Zaniel." She nudges him once again while laughing.

Zaria arches her eyebrow at Zaniel and acts shocked. "You are concerned about the babies inside my womb? Is the world ending?" She looks around her for any signs that the world is really ending or not. She smiles as she nuzzles her brother back fondly while whispering "Thank you." to him. She is grateful that her brothers are not as temperamental as her sisters and her or she will be in a fight right now with Zaniel at the moment.
"Angry mares? My my my... have you pissed any off lately?" Zaria says with a mischievous grin. "Plus little hooves is probably something you would want since you are almost like our father.. a loving dolt with penchant for knocking mares up." She sticks her tongue out at Zaniel as she crosses her eyes at him in goofy manner.
