I think that they only way for him to clean up his act is to avoid trouble. Merely changing the nickname "Pacman" (which isn't even suggestive at all) doesn't solve anything. He has been arrested 6 times since being drafted by the Titans. He should hang out with a different crowd and stay away from violence, gangs, drugs, and weapons. He has been arrested numerous times since his one-year NFL suspension has been announced, and that shows that he doesn't even care all that much about one of the best professions a person can wish for.

Yeah. I mean "Pacman" is a pretty cool nickname for a cornerback, but dropping it does not solve anything or clear his name. It's not like his nickname was "rapist," "druglord," "crime cannon," or "handgun." neutral

Spike The Super Saiyan well alot of the ignorant pepole dont even know the name adam jones they just know pacman so by doing this he gets those pepole off his back How can people be ignorant? He wanted his nickname to be "Pacman" for the past few years. Also committing crimes and getting arrested does not help. The only thing that dropping his nickname will do is make him less distinguishable. It won't clear his resume, solve his past, or steer him into the right direction...

Spike The Super Saiyan pacman has changed his life. dieon sanders and other cowboy alumni are mentoring him, he is spending more time with his family, and he is on the best team in the league Deion Sanders changed his life through growth and guidance, many years ago. You know he changed his life, because everybody is convinced that he had a much better career path after his troubles. You can't compare Adam Jones to Deion Sanders. Jones is still serving his NFL suspension. He is able to practice with the team, but hasn't been given full reinstatement yet. Roger Goodell is a smart commissioner. If he knew that Adam Jones "fully and completely changed his life," then he would've already reinstated Jones. Yet Goodell is still not convinced that he is changed. Jones got arrested 6 times since being drafted since the Titans, and twice since his suspension from the league. Those are not examples of change. I, too, believe that Adam Jones will eventually become respectable individual, but until he exhibits success both on and off the field for a long period of time, then he is not fully changed. And about the Cowboys being the best current team in the league, that's your opinion.

the only reason im not saying the giants are the best team in the league, which i usually say the SB winner is till the next season is because the heart and soul of the giants retired. even though the giants have great d-line depth, micheal was more of an emotinal leader even though he was still in his playing prime, no disr3espect but i dont expect giants to repeat or make the playoffs this year for that reason, giants 9-7

Adam has great tallent but he needs to keep his act stright well see if he dose in 08-09 season.

No, you can't replace the leadership and mentality of Strahan as well as replace his play on the field, but they have emerging leaders, a very good coaching staff, and depth at the position. Look for Justin Tuck, Wilkinson, and Kiwanuka to fill in nicely at left end. I, too, don't think that the Giants are favorites to repeat a Super Bowl win this season, but I still think they're the team to beat in the NFC East.

The Cowboys would really love for him to straighten up his act. His destructive decisions cost the Titans a lot, by trading the former top 5 pick with a lot of talent, for an almost meaningless late rounder.

Publicity stunt, and a very good one. This is one of a million amounts of advice he is getting from his camp in order for his successful return to the NFL.
While I enjoy the smokescreens they are putting up for the more mainstream crowd and analysts, I would appreciate it more if he actually cleaned up his personal life. We'll see.

If you think about it he hasnt been hitting or been up to game day speed. it will all show on the feild and most importantly off the feild
