This is what to expect....
He will be considerably larger than my others....like up to 5 pounds (Or even larger) roughly. At 10 weeks old, her hobs already weigh in at over 1 pound. When I got my others, at about 8 weeks+ they were all under a pound.
He will NOT be altered, meaning he will be intact (Will have his testicles, as well as his scent sac. He WILL be able to "poof". Yes, the a bility to release a scent like a skunk. But that only lasts a few min, and is completely gone afterwards.
Since she bred them a little bit ago, he is already pretty big, and a little older than what I am used to. But that is fine, I am sure her kits are all loveable, and I bet I have a hard time choosing one. I honestly hope she already litter trained him. Because there is a lot I am going to be doing...like clicker training. Sooooo...yeah.
I already have a name for him... Mr. Moof. So his registering name will be like this... FFP's Mr. Moof (FFP = Ferret Friends of Pittsburgh)...lol it's just like showing dogs or cats. ^__^ I plan on loads of piccys, so expect a new page of them. And lets hope he gets along with my original ones, so they can play together. I am putting him in a seperate cage for sleeping.

Hide-E-Hole Ferret Rescue
Barb owns and operates the rescue/shelter mostly by herself. She currently has over 30 ferrets all in need of loving PERMANENT homes. Daily she feeds, medicates (the ones that need it only), cleans cages and all other supplies, gives individual attention, etc. And with minimal help. All this and yet she still has a daily normal job outside of her home.
This is why Dave and myself have volunteered our time to help the shelter. So after the flooring is done, we will be able to being some here to stay. We will not be keeping them, only fostering. Barb is so happy we are more than willing to help...she told me she has a few elderly ones that just need a lot of TLC...I told her I have plenty of TLC to go around.
Once we get them, I will put up piccys and bios of them too. ^__^
