Anyways, we finally found a character my boyfriend liked and that I liked too, and we finished leveling her up today. My boyfriend's character was already high enough, so he didn't need to level up any.
In addition to being a certain job level, we also had to buy our wedding gear (though it didn't show up, RRO must've changed that when they set up their private server stressed ) and accumulate 2.5 million zeny (like gold).
But we got it all together tonight, and invited a friend (also on RRO) of ours to come watch. Once you put on your gear and talk to some NPC's, you just go up to the altar and give the priest your diamond rings, and he'll start the ceremony. The game announces it to the world, so people can come watch if they'd like. The priest NPC's vows are really neat, very realistic.
I know it's just a game, but we are still happy about it. redface I think it's a sweet, geeky way of showing your partner you're serious about them, if nothing else. It's too bad the outfits didn't show up, like they did on the original iRO (international Ragnorok Online), but oh well. You get a wedding ring item from your partner at the end of the ceremony, and you can equip it to get special husband/wife skills.
Here's some screenshots. I was spamming the print screen button like mad the whole time to make sure I got all the vows in.

There is an NPC in the game who will divorce your characters if you choose, but otherwise the marriage in the game is permanent. Supposed to be as much like real marriage as possible. wink
