I'm reading Tom Wolfe's The Electric Kool Aid Acid Test.
it's ssssooo gggooooddd. It's about the Merry Pranksters and the spreading of LSD and the hippie culture of the 60s. It also studies Ken Kesey, the author of the acclaimed One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest. Which I loved, btw. But yeah, it's super good. I've only gotten through the first 50 pages but that was all today.
It's FACINATING, the way these people lived, and even how hippies seemed to have a social heirarchy while they pretended to trancend the bullshit of popular America...
xp
After this I'm going to hit up some Ernest Hemingway.
