Ala was enjoying her freedom of having Bob fly her places. Unfortunately, he wasn't strong enough to fly from home to D-corp, but they took advantage of every moment they could get to practice. The brass was getting better, especially at landing. Currently, the two were flying about the D-corp building. Niki wasn't due to pick them up for some time and Reign had already said they couldn't come over much because of Cassi.

"Look, 'La. Someone's on the roof." The brass commented, angling himself so that the koala could see.

"Let's go see!" Ala grinned as the dragon dove downwards, clinging on with all four limbs. It was handy to have feet like hers at times like these. As the pair got closer, the girl recognized the dragon before she did the boy standing nearby. "It's Worrel!" The name she'd given the dragon as a toddler stuck in her mind and she'd probably be too embarassed to say it to anyone but Bob.

The dragon landed nearby the frost, greeting Vorel in English.

To say that he was surprised would be the understatement of the year, in all the times that Ligeia found himself hanging out up on the roof he couldn't recall a single time when anyone else appeared to join him. His heart had given a jump even when a shadow fell over them, turning to look to see who it was and his eyes went huge in surprise, "Alaqua?" He murmured, surprised.

Wow! When had the Koala girl gotten so big? Then again he did suppose that it had been a long time since they had last seen each other hadn't it?

He gave her a smile when her dragon landed next to Vorel, "Hello, welcome to my thinking spot." He greeted her.

The Frost looked over at Bob before giving him a smile and a nod, "Hello there." He greeted in Draconic, looking the dragon over and he tried to think on whether he'd ever met a dragon that looked like this one before but none came to mind. This was fun and new and caused his tail to start wagging.

Ala grinned as she hopped down from Bob. "Your thinking spot?" She glanced about, taking in the view. "It's pretty up here..." As far as the koala was concerned it only had one downside: No way to climb up. Stairs definitly didn't count. "Bet a lot of people don't come up here..." She commented, almost more to herself than to Ligeia.

Bob gave a draconic grin to the frost, switching over to Draconic. "Greetings. I am Jormungandr and I believe you are called 'Worrel'?" If only the brass knew how he would be embarassing his girl....

The owl gave a nod of his head as he moved over to sit down on the railing, letting his fluffy feet dangle over the edge. He looked down, around, and then over to Ala, "Exactly. Its because not many people come here that its the best for thinking." He told her. She seemed to understand already why he came here, the lack of people that could easily get to this place, "There is an elevator and some stairs but even those aren't often used and once in a while a helicopter will arrive."

His swing his feet then, "Aside from that this place is mine, I am kinda glad to have company though." He told her, not wanting her to think he didn't want her here. In fact having company was something he really missed, he'd been studying to much lately.

Vorel gave a smile, "Good to meet you Jorm... Jorumun... gandr?" He would have flushed if he could when he tripped up over the long, but very interesting name. He tilted his head to the side and then gave a shake of his head, "Ligeia calls me Vorel." He told the brass, pronouncing his name carefully that he would catch it. Worrel... he was certain he'd been called that before but couldn't remember when.

Ala grinned and sat on the edge near Ligeia. She peered over the edge, whistling softly. "I never realized how big this building is..." Even the trees were dwarfed from here. She gave a sigh, enjoying the moment. It was definitely quieter up here than down inside the building and even around it. The younger kids tended to hang out around there. She didn't mind litte kids so much... but some of them seemed frightened by Bob, so that'd been why they'd decided to practice flying some more.

"Thinking spots are nice. I've got one in the tree in my backyard. It's nice to escape from mayhem every now and then..." Mayhem was a good description of her house on a daily basis. "Plus, Bob's getting a bit big to be inside as much anymore..." She glanced over at the dragon with a grin.

Bob grinned. "Correct." He was pleased that at least some were starting to call him by the proper name. That silly girl would eventually see the light, he was sure. "Oh. Nice to meet you, Vorel." Just goes to show how silly his girl was. But... perhaps he had misheard her?

"That is the one nice thing about living here with my Dad, the doors were designed with dragons in mind so they are bigger then normal. Makes it so he is still able to get around with me." He said, looking over at the Frost who had happily struck up a conversation with the Brass.

Ligeia didn't know what he would do when Vorel got to big to sleep in his room, no doubt he'd go and sleep where ever Vorel did fit. He didn't like the idea of being away from the Frost especially at the moment.

Vorel's tail flicked back and forth in a happy manner when he'd managed in his attempts to get the name right. This dragon seemed nice, a lot friendlier then Keir though at the same time he still missed the sour tempered Black, "Enjoying the day?" He asked of the Brass.

The air currents were favorable for flying so he couldn't complain aside from the fact that it was a bit hot. Nothing he couldn't fix by flapping his wings or giving the occasional blast of frosty breath.

"Yeah, Mom put french doors on my room so Bob can still get in and out, but the rest of the house is a tight squeeze. He usually just stays in my room or the backyard now." Alaqua was glad her mother had had the insight to do that. For now, it meant that Bob could still sleep in her room, though most of the furniture had been moved out to make more room for him...

Bob nodded his head, something he'd picked up from the humans in his house. "Aye. The weather is fairly nice and the sky is clear. A good flying day." Plus the air was a bit cooler higher up, so Ala liked flying for the breeze and cooler air. Poor kid... with all that fur...

"That was a really good idea." Ligeia said, looking over toward the dragons for a moment. It wasn't often that he saw a dragon that was closer to Vorel's size. For the most part they ran across ones that were much smaller, "Our place is on the small side and a little crowded at the moment but luckily it seems like we are rarely all at home at one time."

The times when his father, his brother, his brother's wyvern, Vorel, and himself were home all at the same time were both rare and cramped. With Vorel and Baroness seeming to always be getting bigger made it feel even more cramped up. His gaze went back to looking down at the ground far below, seeing if anyone or anything were moving about down there.

Vorel gave a smile, "Yes. We have been flying a lot lately. Its good exercise Ligeia says." While the flying was good the sun was most definitely not... the roof needed an overhang to cast shadows he thought to himself as he sent a small burst of fog into the air and flapped his wings to get it to swirl around him.

Alaqua kicked her feet happily. "Yeah, I'm glad she did... it's really nice to have Bob in my room still." She glanced over at the dragons when Ligeia did, spotting Vorel's little trick. "Cool! How'd he do that?!" She got up and wandered over to the frost, curious.

"Yes, the dragon man said the same thing. I can fly farther now than I used to be able to! Too bad we live so far away..." The poor brass still had to be crammed into Niki's jeep to go home, which was getting rather close to impossible. It was good the dragon had learned how to fly already.

"Whoa, neat!" The brass decided to imitate the frost's action... which of course resulted in absolutely nothing. Bob frowned and peered at the frost. "How did you do that?"

The owl couldn't help but give a little chuckle, watching his dragon as he set to cooling off, "Its something he learned in a class with Mr. Coleman, how to effectively use his breath attack." Ligeia said, "He uses it less as an attack and more of a way to cool off when its hot like today. Its good for when we practice magic together too."

Vorel blinked, looking around and realized that what he'd done had gotten everyone's attention on him. He gave a little of a grin, "Just can, the dragon man showed me... though... He trailed off and looked over at Ligeia.

The owl laughed, "He'd sort of figured it out before the class, we just didn't tell the teacher. Didn't want to get in trouble for trying stuff before we were supposed to. Its a useful skill for making juice into Popsicles."

Ala chuckled. "Cool! I can't wait until my next class with him then!" She had only had the flight class with the dragon teacher since Bob had gotten big enough to take the advanced classes. She tried to remember back to the classes she'd had previously with Mr. Coleman. "Though... I think Bob's attack is fire..." Couldn't make popsicles with that...

The brass grinned. "Well... maybe I can figure out my attack, too!" He tried breathing again, but nothing happened. "Hmm... guess it'll take some practice..."

"Fire? That sounds neat. He could help to make s'mores." He said jokingly. While fire breathing sounded a little dangerous the owl was sure things would be fine since D-Corp had good sprinkler systems set up just in case. He looked over at the dragons as they spoke and gave a little giggle over what was being said, "Bob sounds quite enthusiastic about learning, I hope he does well in his class."

Vorel smiled, watching as the other dragon tried, "Takes practice. Concentration." He told the Brass, wishing he could help but if Jormungandr was a fire breathing dragon he didn't think he'd be much help.

Ala cracked up at Geia's comment. "S'mores!" She snickered. "Can't you think of a use besides snacks?" She teased the boy, then glanced over at her dragon. "Yeah, I think he is..." She blinked and stared at the boy. "Wait, you can understand him?"

Bob gave a nod of his head. "Seems like everything takes practice. Perhaps I'll try more. If I can't figure it out, I'm sure that dragon teacher man can help me."

Ligeia couldn't help but laugh, "It was the best way to teach Vorel. He would use his breath attack to freeze the Popsicles and afterwards he'd get to eat some of them. It was his reward for doing well at it." He explained, "Though... I suppose one would have to figure out if you dragon liked S'mores before using that as incentive."

He tilted his head to the side when he realized that Ala was starring at him, "Huh? Oh, yeah. I learned to speak Vorel's language so that we could better communicate. He doesn't know English, hasn't seemed to be able to pick it up."

So to make up for that Ligeia had put in a ton of study time so that he and his dragon could be close in all ways even in the way of communication.

Vorel nodded in agreement, "Yes, but when you learn its fun! Though... not sure what one can do with a breath attack like yours." Vorel seemed to be thinking on it for a while, "Do dragons like you like cooked meat like my sort like frozen food?"

Ala chuckled. "Yeah, I suppose it would be good to see if he did first..." She wasn't sure what she could try to tempt the dragon with. Other than the fact of having done it before being taught. Personally, she felt that would probably be enough to encourage Bob...

"Really? Huh... Bob learned English some time ago... actually, I think he learned it before he started speaking it... but he wanted to be able to say full sentences right away." The girl rolled her eyes. "Kinda surprised everyone... can't get him to shut up now."

Bob gave a sort of draconic shrug. "It's okay... I tried it once. Raw's better. Has more flavor to it. But perhaps there's something else that can be made with fire...?" He glanced over at Ala. "La? What can you make with fire?"

Ala grinned as she figured out that the dragons were talking about the same thing she and Ligeia were. "Uh.... smores. We can make some at home sometime and you can try them."
