Hey, this is the Spyder mr1 paintball marker review.
alot of new woodsballers have probably thought about this for their first marker. so I though I'd do a little exclusive on it.
first of all, it's only $100, so don't think of anything amazing. I know looks are personal preference, but I think that most would say that it looks pretty nice. very durable too. Accuracy the marker isn't that accurate but is a little above average with it's stock 10" barrel; it's probably the best stock barrel you'll get from a stock spyder besides the 2 peice spyder TS barrel. Air it's primary air source is C02. I've seen people use HPA on the high ROF models and didn't seem to have any problems.
Accessories as with many woodsball markers, it has many accessories to mod it with. it comes with a stock that helps with aiming alot. t also has a very small dovetail that is big enough for a laser or red dot scope.
feed it's got a horizontal feed so don't use any high torque hoppers, but with it's low rate of fire, you really don't have to get anything more than a revy.
ROF it's rate of fire is up to 13bps. I personally have only shot 11bps with it. the trigger is pretty light for a spring blowback.
mods there's a very unique mod for this marker because of it's spacious trigger frame. you can take the sear spring and attatch it to the trigger guard. this will make the marker shoot full auto at over 30bps. of course, this is for show, not for use. and at this rate of fire, the marker's internals and bolt will freeze if using C02.you could expect your bolt to be gone before you can empty 20oz if you let it go too fast. I reall wouldn't recommend it since your marker will probably break.
that's about it.
overall: 4/10
for it's performance: 3/10 For it's price: 6/10
recommendations I would only recommend this marker if you are playing scenario games. it's not made for speedball. if anything the E-MR1(electric version) is very good and can shoot at higher rates of fire plus boards.
I'd recommend this to the money tight scenarioball beginner.
it's only a good marker in it's class, but then again, most scenario markers are only for looks, if you want performance, get a tournament marker instead of a bushwacker
