Abrasax, a beautiful city, it was a haven for the demons that lived there. The houses occupied the vast amount of the city and were scattered around with a stream of walkways and roads down between them.
The houses of Abrasax came in many sizes, the larger houses for the larger demons, or for those who are owed the most favors. The houses ranged from rock walls to wood, depending on the times they where made.
The more resent houses and also the larger were made from stone and a blue coloured mineral used to cement them together. The rocks where chizzled off at the angles that jutted out of the smooth surface, leaving remains of dust against the blue mineral.
The roofs of these houses were made of planks of an unusual looking plant, it seemed to be a tree but not, it was crystallized, in the human realm some would call it petrified wood, but it was so much more then just that. The crystals of the wood helped to reflect the suns raise and keep the houses cooler on the inside. However the deep colour of the wood caught the light and kept the buildings at a warm temperature for its occupants.
The less sturdy houses were constructed of this crystallized wood and again held together with the strange blue mineral in order to stop the crystals from shattering. The roofs of these buildings where then covered with smaller branches of these unusual 'trees' where roped together with thin bark ropes and secured with the blue material like a glue.
The smallest of the houses where ranged down to human sizes, few had to be much smaller then that. They were constructed of the same materials as the other houses, depending on the age they where built in. Those who had little to give out in return for favors, did not own large houses.
