I have a yz250 and can't get it to start and its brand new!
there's gas and it just wont turn on.
and whenever I kick it, there's the smell of gas alot.

There are many possible answers...
1.) Could be that you don't have the gas turned on
2.) Maybe the gas line is broken
Also...try a push start...put the bike in 2nd gear and have somebody push you...hold the clutch in when they're pushing you and when you have enough speed...just let go of the clutch and it should start the bike...that's how I do it when I race...just pop the clutch and the bike should start...hi

did you mix the gas right?

you either have to break it in a little since it's new or you have a basic technical problem:

check the sparkplug, make sure it's firing.
if you smell gas, there should be anything wrong with th4e lines unless there was a noticable puddle of gas on the ground or on you. O.o

they are both right...if it's not working...try the push start...and if not...make sure that the gas is mixed right, the plug is firing and that the gas line isnt broken...also...check to see if everything is in place and working right...that could be the problem...
