Thanks!
Yeah, there are a few things I don't like, but I'm willing to deal with it.
Although, if I ever find a cheep wig, I'll use that instead. Making one is hard to do.
The sword could use a bit of work, and I've got ideas on how to improve the next one I do, if I do another one.
Ra ra, you can do it! Cosplay for the fun!
FOR THE SAKE OF ALL THAT IS GOOD, DON'T GET A CHEAP WIG!!!!
Sorry for yelling!
sweatdrop when it comes to fabric, patterns, shoes, accessories, and anything else that you would require for a costume, it's okay to skimp.
But a wig on the other hand can make-or-break a costume; I speak from experience. I absolutely hate my Cloud because I made that mistake. The out fit and everything else is perfect, but the wig ruined it for me.
Think of it this way: A Party City wig is about 20 bucks, while a good commissioned wig will cost you about 100 dollars. At first a lot of people will go with party city, but these wig are HORRIBLE quality. after just 3 or 4 uses, it's rendered useless, and you have to get a new one. After 5 wigs, you've already wasted enough money to get yourself a quality wig. You may as well try to style your own hair, and I'm sure it'll look better than a cheap wig.
A commissioned wig (and please look up the history of the artist) will last you a VERY long time, and it will ALWAYS look better than the best you could ever hope to get a cheap wig to look.
I'm really sorry for the rant, but I speak from experience, and I don't want any fellow cosplayer to go though the pain (to my pride and my wallet) that I did.
