I have heard today, and not for the first time that I am the first person ever on Gaia to give someone a gift. How sad is that? Part of my enjoyment on this site is giving things to people, just cause I feel like it.
I think we all need to take a moment and ponder why sooooo many Gaians are just in it for the gold. So when you have your million gold, then what? You're gonna sit there and think... hm, what could I possibly do with all this? 2003 items go for 5 million... I still have 4 million left to go...
Seriously. eek

I quest once in a while, but other times I'm free to give a few things up for others. And some girl gave me 21k to complete a quest the other day...o-O

I try to give to people who I think are deserving.
But a lot of time those people tend to already have a lot of gold and don't need it sweatdrop

i was constantly giving out items. then my computer decided to hate gaia and i quit for a few months. After i finish up my quest, im going straight back to donating. Heh..i gave my ex a Coco and Katana for his birthday.

had some very random generosity few days ago. was just doing some dice/bumping games and someone gave me a summoning tome because "they weren't using it anymore". needless to say i was quite happy and thanked profusely.

Oh lucky! I've never had that happen to me. That's very nice of the person. Did you know who it was? Or was it an anonymous one?

I was in a dice game a few days ago and didnt anything for a while, then the guy running the game just decided to give me this seeing stone as free gift. I was actually shocked, I couldnt believe someone would just give away an item like that. I would like to complete my quests and when I'm done and have nothing else to do, I want to have the recourses to help other Gaians like that.

I think giving on Gaia is awesome. It's hard when you first start to really make much gold or get anything cool. I have only been on since March (I think, maybe April) and was having a terrible time getting gold.

And then my sis gave me these wings which is really awesome of her. People who give just help make other people's Gaia dreams come true, and hopefully those people that were given too, pass it along and give to someone else.

And then before you know it, there will be a bunch of happy giving Gaians running around all over and it will become a better place (not that it's not now, of course) biggrin
