Battle in the Strait  What seems to be a naval battle in Japan between warring states. Could there be any links to the Cursed or Holy Sword here?

After a week of sailing, Night Shadow and Daisuke found themselves in Japan, home of Night Shadow's clan. "I'm home." Night Shadow said.

Euphrates remained silent and still beneath the deck. The talk back at the castle of gold had been too tempting, and she had managed to sneak aboard undetected.
So carefully had she crept aboard, and so carefully had she hidden evidence of her presence, that it was impossible for Daisuke and Night to know she had stowed on. She would follow after them with the same caution and precision she had used to board. They wouldn't detect her.

Suddenly, a flaming arrow whizzed by Night Shadow's ear. "What the...?" The port that they had docked at had seemed to be in the middle of a huge battle.

Daisuke Got into a stance and drew his two blades. "Hmm, Looks like I'm going to have to fight again. What a Pain! I was hoping to see your clan and Start doing missions, also earning gold."

"Not this kind of training." Night Shadow said. Suddenly they heard a 'click'. They both turned around to see a line of rifles at their faces.
"Stop right there!" One of the men said.

Night Shadow sighed. He knew that a fight now would only make more problems. He just hoped that Daisuke knew that also.

Dasiuke sighed and simply dropped his weapons on the ground being a ninja, he had many concealed weapons which he had never had to use. He simply raised both of his hands. "You guys suck." He grunted in an annoyed tone.

Night Shadow did the same. One of the men picked up the weapons and stashed them in a sack.
"We will be getting those back." Night Shadow said to the leader.

Dasiuke looked at Night fro a moment. "Wait.. Since We're new arrival They're taking our weapons for Safe measures?" He glanced at them with his eye twitching. "Do I look like a Terrorist to you!?"

"You will come with us until we can clarify who you are, and what side you are on." The leader said to Daisuke. "Search the ship." He then said to one of the others.
"Go along with it. I heard war was brewing. I was hoping to miss this but..." Night Shadow said.
