Kayla helped Clarissa onto the bed
"Get well soon"
She said with a slight smile. She then turned to Pure and motioned him out of the wing
"She needs rest, the stunning spell was quite powerfull.."
She sighed and walked into the corridores

Kayla swung open the doors of the hospital wing, waiting for Daniel to come in; he was only a few steps behind her. She looked around, looking for someone who could tend to Daniel.
Madam Promfre walked around the corner and looke at Kayla. She walked over to her.
"Oh, dear what did you do to yourself?! you don't look hurt.."
She said, examining Kayla.
Kayla shook her head
"No, I'm fine.. it's my friend Daniel.."
"Very well, but.. where is he?!"
Kayla rolled her eyes, thats what she was tying to say.
"He's comming"

Daniel came in, and was immediately rushed by Madam Pomfrey.
"Oh, my! What happened to you?!" she asked, taking his arm and examining it.
Daniel flinched at the pressure on his infected skin. "I was scratched by a cat, and my spell to close the wound backfired... and, well, now it's like it is now."
Madam Pomfrey flinched, then lead him over to one of the beds. "You stay here, and I'll get the proper antidote... oh, I hope!" She left the room quickly.

Kaze came walking in just after Daniel. Than goes and stood over by Kayla. "Is he gonna be alright?" he said in a concernd voice.

Kaya shrugged
"I really don't know... Probably though. Madam Promfre can fix almost anything"
She nodded her head slightly, staring ahead of her blankly.

Madam Pomfrey came in a few moments later, carrying with her a clear potion. "Here, this should work. It might taste a little foul, though..."
"Never heard of a potion that worked that didn't taste awful," Daniel said, taking the potion. He raised the glass to Kayla. "Cheers." He gulped the potion, trying to ignore the horrific taste that reminded him of when he had eaten an entire bag of Every Flavored Beans at once.

Kaze shruged also and sat down on the bed.
"True she's healed me up from some pretty nasty stuff. Worse than this." he said with with a blank expression on his face.

Kayla laughed at Daniel's face as he gulped down the potion. She then turned to Kaze and nodded her head
"Yupp..."
She said, not really knowing what else to say. She turned back to Daniel; he still had that look on his face. She laughed again
"So how does it taste?!"
She asked, laughing slightly.

Daniel winced, and said, "A bit of armpit, pepper, grape, kiwi, old socks, and you catch my drift." He handed over the potion to Madam Pomfrey, and looked at his arm. The wounds had stopped oozing, and it was slowly turning back to normal coloration. He tried to move it, but that ability had not yet been granted to him. "Last time I try to heal something as minor as a cat scratch..."

Kaze bites his lip hard trying not to laugh at Daniels face.
"Wow it's that bad?" he said giggling a little.

Kayla scartched the back of her head
"Yea... I think that was kinda my fault to.. sorry 'bout that.."
She shook her head. She wasn't the BEST magician in the school, but she certanly wasn't the worst... why all of a sudden where her powers leaving her?!

Daniel smirked, trying not to laugh at the absurdity of everything that had happened. "It's not your fault. It was mine, too... and let's not forget those damn cats!" At this he laughed, testing the fingers on his injured arm and letting it hang at his side. "Looks like it's a bit better now."

Kayla nodded her head
"Thats good..."
She looked down at his hand and then up to a blank wall. Her face had a slightly blank expression on it. So many thoughts in her head... The people going missing.. magic backfiring.. what could possibly be next?!

"Yeah..." Daniel said, looking at Kayla and frowning.
"We should probably get back to the common room," he said, suddenly sombered. His thoughts bore a hint of what Kayla was thinking; what was next? But what had started it? And how could they stop it?
