A Small Note in the Front of the Journal This journal chronicles the life and adventures of Reiley Scott. If found, please return to him.

~ Please don't rip out any of the pages. Don't steal things from me (including layout, ideas etc.), Micro (all the artwork), or anyone else who may grace this thread with their doing.
~ You may read the journal, but please return to Reiley when you're done. I'm totally okay with people reading this journal but please don't be a thief.
I've written a little about me, my Pokemon, and what's happened to us so far. Hopefully, this will give many people insight into our little family and what's happened on this amazing journey.

history} reiley grew up in a well-to-do family. he always had a meal on the table, lived in a well-sized house, had a loving family; what more could he ask? he didn't, however, want to stay in his little town in Kanto though. he wanted bigger things in his life and begged his parents to let him move to Zatao and move in with his grandparents, hoping to start what he thinks would be a great adventure.
after a couple months of begging, his parents finally gave in. he arrived in Zatao optimistic and ready to begin... but his grandparents didn't think so. they forced him into trainer school and made him get lessons on how to raise and train pokemon efficiently for battle. and while this does give his battling an edge, he completely shuns the way he was trained to raise pokemon. at the academy, they focused on strength and skill of a pokemon, never bothering to form a connection of friendship between the training pokemon and the students and that was wrong.
he eventually graduated at the top of his class and his grandparents gave him the pick of all the pokemon on their farm but he turned them down. he wanted to forge his own way through this world and nothing was going to stop him.
personality} reiley is an optimistic dreamer (the worst kind of dreamer) and believes he and his pokemon can accomplish anything. he is determined and willing to work hard for his cause and will always be a best friend to his pokemon.
he trains his pokemon in a way that allows them to connect with him which results in extremely good communication in battle. and while his party might be small, you can bet they'll put up a great fight. once he realizes that his team won't really be fit for battle against some of the other teams, he'll eventually take them into contests and try his luck there.

species} shaymin
gender} male
pokedex definition} shaymin lives in flower patches and avoids detection by curling up to look like a flowering plant and it can dissolve toxins in the air to instantly transform ruined land into a lush field of flowers.
history} hyacinth is a shiny shaymin which constitutes of white fur on it's body and an odd turquoise coloring of the bush on it's back. along with that are some gold markings around hyacinth's left eye and forepaws.
personality} hyacinth spent all of his life getting trampled on by unsurpassing people in his flower sanctuary. no one had ever taken the time to top and smell the flowers he had grown for the people of the town nearby, but when reiley had been able to see him he was overjoyed. someone actually took the time to appreciate his work! reiley then asked hyacinth to join his team and although he had to leave his precious flower fields behind, he had found a new friend.
personality} hyacinth is a little scared of people and large pokemon, always thinking that he will be stepped on so he hangs out on reiley's shoulder/head. he never goes into his pokeball except in times where he thinks that the situation isn't safe, in which case, he'll throw himself at reiley's trainer belt until he hits the button on his pokeball and is returned to it. hyacinth also loves to use his moves to create flower beds along the way. in battle, hyacinth takes a while to get over the fact that another creature actually wants to hurt him, but when he does, he becomes a fighter. his fight style is something like a hit-and-run technique as in he brutally attacks his opponent with Seed Flare or Leech Seed and then runs away, only to trip his opponent using Grass Knot.

pokedex definition} as a protective technique, it can completely freeze its fur to make its hairs stand like needles.
history} zephyr used to be a part of golden's family but he didn't feel complete staying with them, so he decided to leave. it was both a sad and tearful goodbye, but both sides knew that this was what was right for him. zephyr and reiley first met while hyacinth had gotten lost in a forest while on his growing spree. hyacinth had accidentally gotten himself stuck in a tree and didn't want to jump. so, zephyr created an ice slide for him to slide down on, thus angering the flock of beedrill living in the adjacent trees. between hyacinth's seed flare and zephyr's ice shard, the beedrill stood no chance. zephyr joined reiley's party after that.
personality} zephyr is a happy-go-lucky and protective glaceon. now that he has finally found some place where he fits in, he could not be happier. he is extremely protective of reiley and hyacinth and if he feels threatened, he will show it. never afraid of anyone, zephyr will willingly fight anyone, even if he knows he's going to lose. when the chips are down, zephyr is able to calm himself and figure a way out of the situation. he favors the more direct style of fighting but is very creative and you never know what he's going to do next with his moves.
