It had not been a particularly eventful day, all things told. Far less involved and exciting than Blossomforth would have liked, but she mollified herself with the fact that there had been no disasters. No one had snapped or bitten or kicked though Dia was have one of her Testy Days. Lots of ear pinning and threats but not a single hoofmark on any of them.
There'd been grazing, there'd been dozing, there'd been snippets of conversation here and there, but not enough. No, Blossomforth could talk more than the other three combined, and often did. She'd chased Diego off more than once with her chatter, sadly enough. She didn't mean to do it. She just had a lot to say.
But it was quiet now, out in a field with open sky above her and the first stars twinkling into view. Blossomforth had her nose pointed at the sky and she heaved a sigh, settling in for a little stargazing. She didn't look over when she heard someone else moving nearby. She simply swiveled an ear in that direction and called, "It'll be a pretty night tonight, don't you think?"
