Prehaps the lightest and the most underfed of all the children was Sprite. He was a terrible hunter and most of the food usally went to Red since she was the more dominate of the trio. Though he sometimes managed to catch small animals that he could have to himself. It was all her really asked for, enough to live and be healthy. Even with the lack of nurishment he was in tiptop condition- to his standards anyway. Again Sprite never tried to be the glory hound that other wolves might have been trying to achieve. He prefered to keep in touch with reality about his body and with that knew his own limits and never pushed further then that.

The white-moehawked wolf was also the most quite of the bunch. Though he stayed with his family threw love- he often liked to keep to himself as he was poor with social situations. Not that he had fear towards others- but he often took his fathers laid back additude to far and sometimes came off in a manor that even he himself didn't like, a lazy under achiver. And again the lack of keeping to his body seamed to renforce that point with anyone that met him.

To Sprite his family moved more then he liked to his tastes. Though he loved them, he couldn't understand what his father had been searching for all this while- sometimes he worried about him. As his father often drove things to the point of obsession. Had the green and blue wolf been in control he would have settled him and his siblings a long while ago. But then again Sprite didn't know that Dew was searching for his long lost half brother Crunch all this while. Prehaps if his father and mother had let him in to one of there conversations he would have felt more for his fathers quest. Not seen it as ludecrecy as he was often feeling towards the situation.

Although aside from the constant moving he really had no complaints about his family. His parents were good loving providers; and dispite arguments with his siblings from time to time he had no ill intentions toward any of them. If he had to he'd push his scrapy body to the limit and die protecting them- even though it was agaist his peace loving nature

Though her brother was a peace loving wolf, the red and black female was one that would lay her teeth into anything that so much as looked at any of her family in an ill manner. Or what she thought was ill mannered. She never asked to many questions, just did as she was told, always ready for action was how this fiery femme was.

Just the same, this attitude had won her the nickname Code Red, though she was just named Red at birth. She figured because of her coat, but the head strong wolfess moved her crimson eyes to look back towards her siblings.

"How are you all fairing back there?" she asked, again, Red was basically the complete opposite of her brother Sprite. The only thing they had in common, personality wise, was they would die for their family, she would just die first rushing head-on into a confertation with burning crimson eyes.

The black paws stopped and her black tipped red tail wavered in the gentle wind. The were looking for something, something their father and mother had even forgot to tell her, besides, "You'll find what I'm looking for with instincts." That was what her father had said.

Alot of good her instincts were for finding something she had no idea what she was looking for. Red closed her black eye lids and gave a small sigh, before opening her eyes again. There had to be a reason behind all this, they had traveled all over Telk looking for something.

Coke Zero tagged along after his nieces and nephews, because Coca Cola had told him too. He always found a bitter irony in the fact his little sister was his alpha, and he...he had become the omega of the pack. His slim frame and utter lack of ability to keep quiet on a hunt had reduced him to this, as well as his nature. At times Zero could be downright catatonic, lost in thoughts of how things might have been had his position with his sister been reversed.

He wasn't so hot about her mate either, but there was no denying how devoted they were to each other, their healthy, clever grown children were just an insult to the injury on his pride. Still in his heart Zero did love his sister and her offspring, the love was simply dipped in a bittersweet concoction.

He shook off and grumbled under his breath, Cola didn't question her mates constant wanderings though they could have settled time and time again. Zero was frustrated by the lifestyle, their pack was of a size that it could hold a small bit of territory yet they traveled about in this nomadic manner week after week. What was that brute looking for?

His nieces question snapped him from his bitter thoughts. "Fine...but maybe we should call it a day, this is..." stupid he thought to himself.

Sprite looked over to Zero with an agreeing nod on the situation. The constant movement was quite stupid. But again he wasn't the one to question his father or his mother. They were half the reason the scrawny wolf actully stayed alive. He tried to believe to himself that his tiny meals were the reason he didn't drop dead with the flys, but in his heart he knew otherwise. Though something in Zero's tone bothered him and so he went over to him and pulled rank. "Don't talk about father like he was crazy...he's the only reason we've all stayed together like we have- how many families can you say do that?"

Prehaps he wasn't the most inmadating but the other knew he was serious when he spoke of his parents. He dearly loved them both to peices; being his pride and joy next to his sister. "I mean how can you say anything agaist him- when your sister and my dad are the one that feeds your mouth?" He furled his brow once more before turning back to what he was doing. He loved Zero too as annoying as he might have been sometimes. It was just like families did and had quarrels from with in- even if Sprite at times shared the omega's opinion.

The crimson eyes watched as the mouth of Zero moved, words to soft for her to hear, but evidently not for Sprite. As it was her brother seemingly rushed over and threw rank about their mother and father, and ultimately their Alphas.

The fur on the nape of her neck bristled, but she kept her eyes from narrowing. Red knew her uncle had fantasties, but he was one wolf, and one that had a hard time keeping silent enough for a hunt, but he had never done anything to cause any major fractions of warry to pass over Red. Yes, Zero was her Uncle and she loved him for being family, but if it came between him and her mother, her mother took president.

A smirk came to her maw, one that looked sarcastic in manner, "This is...What dear uncle?" The tone she used was soft, but soft wasn't something Red ever was. She was an edgy wolf from the womb, always ready to n** at something that seemed to need correcting, as it was she also was a perfectionist. As much as a wolf could be, and that was just something that added into her short fuse, as only after some struggling did things ever look like she thought would be what her mother and father would like.

Stepping up next to Sprite, the black nose nudged into her brother's neck, in a silent manner of saying, calm down.

"Will stop here, but," her head turned to Zero, "there isn't a place to claim as a night den I can see. Would you like to sleep on the ground in open land? Or," her voice went from the softness to her regular tone, "We can walk to a vacant den, where ever that be in this area."

Zero let out a soft mumble, no real words just pent up frustrations. He knew his nephew agreed with his unspoken comment, yet his nieces and nephews always sided with their father and his brilliant leadership. It was true that Dew always kept them fed, and they did not suffer any brutality or severe hardships moving with the weather, but it was moving. That was the trouble, they did not have a steady place to call home. Home is where the heart is, Cola had told him once firmly.

"Your right Sprite..." He conceded to his nephew, they had not seen any family as close as their own. He bristled a bit at the reminder that it was indeed his sister and brother in law that kept him fed.

He swung towards his niece and lowered his head a bit sheepishly. "I only meant that this is silly, to keep traveling so late, we should find a nice den like you said..." He sighed softly and moved to give his niece a nuzzle, he loved her even if she was quite the stuck up little rule enforcer.

Sprites temper still bristled a small bit as Zero decided to speak again; but his sister near him comforted the rage out of him slightly. He clearly knew that Zero had a firm lack of disrespect for his parents and only tolerated him to a certain respect. "We probally should settle." His stomach gava a small lurching growl. "Mom and Dad should be back with food sometime soon as well." Prehaps this meal would make him less like a skeliton and more like a wolf- but he again doubted it not being a big eatter in the first place. Numerous times he had passed up meals; only because his stomach had shrunk so small that he wasn't hungry. But tonight was different- prehaps Zero had put him in the mood to bindge- something he was probally going to hurl up later if he wasn't careful.

"Sister your better at finding these things then me...so I'll give you the honner of finding us someplace to rest." He nuzzled her back as a sign of comfort as she too seamed agitated about the black Omega.

A brow rose as she listened to her uncle speak, but she was in agreement to what they were thinking and saying. Unfamiliar land was something she didn't personally want to trudge her loved ones through, not at night at least. Where was mother and father?

At Zero's nuzzle the red and black fur seemed to settle, just ever so slightly, she kept herself from stating, and you better hope that was all you meant to say.

She turned her head to look over at Sprite at his nuzzle, and she nodded. "Alright," she looked at her brother's growling stomach and frowned. She never liked seeing him not eat, it wasn't something that she wanted to see. Her brother like a skeleton, but Red wasn't going to force him to chow down on anything, knowing Sprite would and could toss the meat out later.

"And if mom and dad don't show up, I'll look for some food. I'm sure we all are hungry," her crimson eyes moved to look at even Zero to see what he though of the food proposition.

Zero gave a soft nod at the proposition of food and sniffed around, the area seemed to be lacking in larger prey, but he was sure he caught the smell of rabbit nearby. He slowed his pace not wanting to make too much noise, at his tail dangled a small metal chain and charm, his sister bore one as well, but she knew how to keep hers silent.

"We've traveled pretty far, I don't know if the others will catch up tonight, they were a bit more intent." And he was sure his sister would take the chance to spend some time alone with her mate. Their devotion to each other only reminded him more of his lonely state.

Sprite nodded quite quickly this time towards any mention of food. Then slowed down his small excitement and went back to thinking to himself. 'Why did mom and dad move so much?' It obviously wasn't the food- because every where they had settled was quite bountiful. Prehaps- the young wolf mused to himself...his mom and dad was running from another pack...but he'd think that idea was silly also. Mom and dad had seemed far to calm to be running from anything. He trod over to Red and sat next to her silently.

"So red why do you really think we move so much...your the smartest out of all of us- I'm sure you have some idea why mom and dad have never settled?"

His yellow eyes pled to her red ones. He dearly loved his sister and trusted any words or ideas she had. She was generally right on everything having been blessed with the brains of the bunch.

"I just think it's strange that we've never settled even though every land we've ever been to has been so abundant in food."

He kept lowering his voice so that Zero couldn't hear the conversation. Again it wasn't that Sprite didn't have feelings to the black Omega. It was just that- he WAS an omega; and with his current behavior didn't deserve to be treated as otherwise. His stomach then gave another rumble. 'Where were his parents with the food?'

Hearing her uncle talk, she did look around and surveyed the area, it would be dark before to long, her mother and father probably had already settled into a den for the night. Hopefully not to comfortable, not that she would wish discomfort on her parents, but pups on the constant move wasn't something she looked forward to seeing.

Sniffing the air she then caught the scent of rabbit as well, nothing big game at all, not like an omega and her skin and bone brother could help take down a buck, she did love them dearly, but they weren't the best hunting partners. "After finding a den, I'll get us some food, I think Uncle is right, mom and dad won't find us tonight," she said towards Sprite as he came closer to her and sat down.

Hearing her brother ask for her opinion, Red had to mull over the thought, going with the first gut response she came up with, "Finding family."

Her black brows rose abit at even her own words, was there more wolves out there with their blood in them? The just had to be it. Dad was looking for something and he wasn't finding it in the areas that the had covered in the past, or if there had been something, it was too faint for them to fully track.

"We're looking for lost family," she repeated in a very hushed voice, more in shock at the sudden milestone connection of her brain then trying to keep Zero out of the conversation. Crimson orbs locked upon yellow eyes wide with anticipation of seeing her brothers reaction.

Zero tilted his head and frowned at Red's words, it wasn't that they displeased him they simply confused him at first. They didn't have any lost family after all, did they? Then he frowned with displeasure, maybe not but Dew might have. Cola always followed Dew and ensured that her actions pleased her mate. He disliked his sisters constant deference to her mate, but held his tongue.

If that wolf was running them in ragged silly circles just to find some of his lost family why did they all have to go along with it? Couldn't Cola and the kids remain in a nice safe area while Dew took himself off on the adventure?

"What for?" He muttered to his niece wondering why they all had to participate in the little search.

The tone bothered Sprite again looking back at Zero. "Wouldn't you want to find your family if YOU were lost." Granted dad's little journy taxed the small group time to time- but if he ever lost somebody dear to him by god he'd search until he was dead to find them. But this wasn't how Zero thought at least to Sprite anyway. "But you've never really had much of a sence of family have you Coke. Your always looking for some way to seperate yourself from the group. If you had half a chance you'd probally even join another pack..." He gave the words a dirty look.

But all in all her looked happy when Red mentioned family. The thought of making there little group larger just seamed so attractive to him. He wondered what this other family might be like, where they settled- allies, and other things that went threw a wolfs mind when the word 'family' was brought up. "Can't wait to meet them Red." He beamed at the thought then streched out and laid himself out on the ground.

When Sprite spoke up to Zero's words, Red locked her eyes upon her uncle, the red in them seemed to harden like a stone. "Maybe we should lose you. Walk away, cover our tracks and see how long you can make it, Uncle," Red growled, yes, her temper had snapped out of it's small hiding spot. "Or maybe we should inform our generous alphas that because of your thoughts on finding lost family being a waste of time and energy, we should just tucker down here."

Eyes scanned over the small area, ears twitched listening to the surroundings, and her nose quivered as she sniffed the air. "An area that seems to be lacking in everything that is prey suitable but that of small, very small prey animals. I guess if nothing else, since it would have been your idea, we could always just let mom and dad eat you're scrawny hide." The tone was harsh and bitter, ears pressed down to her skull, and her tail had bristled.

Red stood up and, forced herself not to think of the words she had just said, no one in the family would eat another. They weren't that kind of wolves. Looking towards Sprite, and his light mood, she calmed a bit.

An eye twitched and with a snort she looked over her shoulder, so not to look at her Uncle, though her tone was softer, "Me too, Sprite, me too."

The red and black wolfess then caught sight of something, it was small, but in a springing motion, she flew from the small gathering and jumped upon a rabbit. It made a squeaking noise right before she took her fangs to the animals throat.

Ruby eyes moved to look over towards the others, rabbit hanging in her jaws, and tossing the dead animal down, Red turned to scope out some of the land.

"Eat that until I come back. I'm going to look for a place to sleep for the eve, maybe our parents will be caught up by then."

Zero felt his tail curl beneath him and his ears lay back at his nieces harsh words, but that was Red alright he always pushed her buttons. "Aww red don't take it like that...you know I love you all...I'm just...tired." He sighed and crouched low to nuzzle his niece and nephew.

Zero's words were true enough, he did love his family, well all but Dew, who he only harbored mild resentment for. He was also tired and snappish, but he was willing to shut his trap if Red would stop her scolding. She was as bad as her mother, and Zero had gone with the siblings to avoid his pushy sister.

Red's words stung, but he simply curled up and allowed Sprite to have at the rabbit first, he knew his niece wouldn't let him starve, or eat him, she might make sure that his stomach grumbled a bit longer though.
