So this free play weekend for Team Fortress 2 didn't really seem to get off the ground as a guild/group as no one shared IDs to meet up in a game. None the less, I think that since we are in a guild devoted to gaming, we should try to organize more activities, whether they be free play weekends, or just days/times that we can all meet up in a game and play. To get things started, why don't we share games that we can play, would play, or would enjoy playing as a group. Via PC, I'm on Team Fortress 2 when I can be. It also would be a good note that Valve has done two free play weekends, both following the release of new achievement/weapon/map packs, suggesting that there will be FIVE more weekends in the coming months (and if I knew when the medic pack released, I would estimate how long we have to wait until the next). On Xbox Live, I enjoy Star Wars Battlefront 2, and would enjoy getting it back up and running if I had some friends on my team. Unfortunately that's about all I have right now, but seriously, guys. We all seem to love games, so get your gamerIDs out there so you can at least count on a friend to help you out. EDIT: Can you run it?The question "can my computer run it?" has been raised before, but if you let this little tool look at your hardware, it will compare the specs to the minimum and recommended settings on a game. It's a nice tool, and I'll put a special thread in the PC gaming section whenever I move this thread.

Unfortunately, not many of us regulars have the same systems, and even if we do, we rarely have the same games. So far, it seems like the most popular new games in the guild as far as owning the game goes are Mario Kart Wii and MGS4. But not many people seem all that interested in getting a game night going. It would, of course, be extremely difficult to coordinate all of our schedules anyways, especially considering that lots of us all live in different time zones. But I for one would love for all of us with MGS4 to form a clan. And I still want to have a Mario Kart Wii night.

How about a Super Smash Bros night. xD I believe Ace has online now (I believe so) and we can try to match up time-zones. (We can plan it like a month or so a head of time to clear schedules. )
Let's first figure out time-zone differences....
Ace and I are US EST

Well, I'm central, and, Superjawes, I'll spy your enemies any time you want as soon as I figure out how to get my twenty bucks to valve.
Mario Kart is always good.

On the basics, RAM is good, a fast processor is good, and a nice GPU is good xd . Yeah, it's simple, but it's how it is. Find out what your motherboard supports and what you can stick in it before you buy ANYTHING, though. As a general question, would a dual-core make games run faster by allowing all the gaming s**t to run on one core, and all the OS s**t on the other?

Drinky McIrish WoW biggrin ... ... I didn't think that'd go anywhere. How about August, Viking? My summer job, paired with nights at Gamestop, has left me pretty busy, but dammit I am going to use that free trial before the end of the summer!

I play Brawl online sometimes, who wants some?
I haven't played Call of Duty 4 in a LONG time as I've gotten sick of the foul-mouthed community (oh yeah, I'm one to talk mrgreen ), 8-year-old shreiking voices in the headset and people who think it's an impossibility to get a good ******** internet connection. But I wouldn't mind messing around with chu guys.
If I start playing Metal Gear Online any time soon and get accustomed to it, I'll play y'all.

Im hindering on changing everything, because my brother plans to upgrade this PC from XP to Vista Ultimate. Where trying to keep it cheap, so Im going to go off from the recommendations of TF2 or Spore or something, and see what we can leave in, take out, and replace.
