Past: Emerald lived in Vermilion city. As a child, she would spend her time drawing and playing with the wild meowth living in a field next to the city. She always had a passion of drawing and pokemon. So, she decided to combine the two by drawing pokemon to make a living. However, her work didn't seem to sell, so she decided to move to a newly discovered island called Zatao in hope that their would be less competition to sell art.
