After so long, I've been considering a change. Not in story, it will still progress as it is. I'm talking character images. I started this comic about 2 years ago when Gaia was still fairly young, and I had almost no items to work with. All of the original cast members are wearing what little items I had for them at the time, often having to trade somethings back and forth between mules so they would have something to wear at all.
Gaia has changed so much. There are so many wonderful new items to use. So I'm thinking of changing some of the characters (just looks remember) We've seen it once before with Sedit in the beginning of the comic. Some will remain the same. Astomos, Sedit, Nemisis (whom is a custom edit of mine so of course he won't be changing), Tezrian, and a few others will not be changed at all from their current forms (Tezrian changes as the story progresses anyway, we have seen this already).
Dethalus, Balberith, Sage are the ones I'm thinking of mostly. I may change a few others.
I however wanted opinions on this change before I do it. So tell me, do you think I should change them, Evolve them into something that I feel will be better then what they are. What do you think?

I personally find the comic to be fine the way it is. If you wanted to change some of their appearances, however, that's fine as well. With all the new items Gaia has developed you could make the characters look more like you might've imagined them to. If you do decide to change the characters, I'd be willing to allow you to borrow some of my items until you get the character in all the positions you'd need. That ay you wouldn't have to spend your gold trying to get the items needed.

hmmm, I think some of the characters could use a basic change. but I think they should keep some o ftheir basic stuff on atleast, then again, I am not the one making the comic and I will come and read it either way, lol

Since I am job-hunting myself, I know how taxing it can be.

I'd love to see new hairstyles.
Maybe something in the plot could lead to new outfit changes. Like, a time-skip sort of thing.
Not to copy Naruto or anything.

I like the characters the way they are,but if you want to change them go right ahead DB. Change wouldn't hurt in the long run overall but it'd be alot different from the styles we're used to seeing.

I think Sage should be more of a spaghetti western character.
Stubble, cowboy hat, stuff like that.

Im thinking a change wouldnt be so bad epecially in Dethalus and Balberith, but you should give us some of your main ideas on what the characters you plan on changing might look like.

How about coming up with a couple of ideas/images and posting them up and let us vote on which one we like or think is either a better change or worse.
After all...everyone does change their fashion or style and of course even hair over time. You could even work it into the story or consider it as upgrades?

I think it's your comic and they're your characters, and you should do whatever you like with them. A change sounds like fun. smile

My, how long has it been since I was on? A month? All thanks to my a*****e in law stepfather....
Anyhoo, I think your comic is great the way it is DB, though that improved look for Sedit was much better than what he looked like in the first and second comic. But your comic has been evolving all along. As Gaia improved during the past few years, so has the comic. Almost every new item, hair style and other things Gaia made has been seen in your comic on the many new characters you come up with. Like those three guys that tried to harrass Nina and Ally, now that was a new look....though, in my opinion, I kinda don't like the new eye styles Gaia made, they lack....the artistic detial like the other old styles...

I think it wouldn't be a bad idea if you did change their clothes and such I mean a lot of things have changed since you started, as you have stated in your original post.
