Avery wondered aimlessly through the forest looking for nothing imparticular. He had left early that morning while everyone was still sleeping. He didn't like to spend too much time at the teepee. There were too many of them there and it just annoyed him. His uncle was always getting into arguements with him as well and kept trying to act all tough when he really wasn't.

Taja walked around the forest looking up to the trees where there were just slivers of light peircing through. Such a wonderful place... It's not all loud like it is outside of this forest. she thought as she continued to walk on trying to get to her secret place.

Unlike the rest of his family, Avery was one that could blend into the surroundings with no problem. He was mostly brown and white and the little bit of light that was coming through the tree tops, it made it even easier. He didn't notice that there was another in the same forest as him.

Taja continued to walk on. She put her head down to see infront of her so she would be able to not step on anything in the bushes that were ahead of her. "Today is peaceful... but kind of boring." she said as she walked through the bushes and reached a clearing. She laid down and put her head down as she thought.

The brown stallions ears flicked as they caught the sound of someone close. He looked around and saw that he was pretty close to a clearing and decided to head that way and see if anyone was there. He turned and started to head to the clearing which was just through the bushes. As he walked he began to hun to himself.

Taja's ears went back as she heard what sounded like humming. "Who's there?" she asked as she turned her body. Great, someone is going to come in here and probably want to cause some trouble. she thought. That's what everyone I'v met has done so far. she continued to think.

Avery stopped everything he was doing when a voice came from somewhere near him. He looked around and finally spotted the mare laying in the tall grass. "No one of great importance, unless you want it to be." he said coyly and flicked his tail.

Taja stood up and turned towards him. "What is your name?" she asked as she was unsure if he would cause some trouble or not. He has some white on his face that makes him look rather good. she thought to herself.

"Well... I'll go first then." she said with a little grin. "I'm Taja." she said with a slight bow of her head. "And now it's your turn." she said waiting to see what he would do. I think he won't cause trouble.... she said becoming more sure of him.

"Taja, huh?" he said letting her name sink into his memory. "Well, I guess I have to say my name now. I'm Avery, nice to meet you." he responded with a grin and a slight bow of his own head. "So why were you laying in hiding in the tall grass over there?"

"Nice to meet you Avery." she said with a bow and a smile. "Oh.... I was just relaxing and taking this day in... It's going well." she said with a slight laugh. "What about you? What were you doing in the bushes?" she asked raising a brow and tilting her head to the side alittle.

"Oh ya know. I wasn't doing much of anything inparticular. Just wandering without any real plans on going anywhere. I heard you and decided to come see who was here." he replied and gave a slight yawn.

"Oh... That sounds good. Well.... I'm not very interesting huh?" she said with a laugh. "Would you like to go for a walk?" she asked as she put her front hoof up alittle.
