The ‘Legless Horseman’ is a somewhat battered and crumbling looking old tavern of two stories high that leans out worryingly into the street. It is made of stone with its upper floor and tall roof made from wood. The windows are small and sunken in, with dust on their windowsills. The sign that hand out from atop the door has a picture of a highwayman with no head, merrily brandishing a pint of beer. Inside the large room is grimey and full of oak wooden tables. There is a large fireplace with a number of moth-eaten chairs and stools crowded around it. Here is where the old men tend to sit and gossip about what’s going on in Ash Coast. The bar is along and scarred by numerous bar fights- chunks chopped out of it form swords and the like. There are barstools here too. Behind the bar is the entrance to the upper floor where the Inn’s room are you can rent for a reasonable price. The barman is a gruff heavy set human man with a thick neck and huge arms called ‘Samson’. The head barmaid is a sensuous looking woman with blazing red hair nicknamed ‘Chimera’ for what she does to those who disrespect her. It’s rumoured that there’s siren blood in her, but as far as everyone’s concerned - she’s human. The beer isn’t great, but it’s strong- and for many round here, that’s the most important thing. Quote: Welcome to the 'Leglass Horseman', as far as many travellers are concerned, the best tavern in all of Ash Coast. Many travellers/adventurers collect here to find travelling companions and to get refreshments. if you listen hard enough, you're likely to learn some important gossip and information, or at least a tasty rumor... If you need to rest, you can pay for a few nights in one of the Inn's rooms. If you've got enough money, you can probbaly pay for someone to spend that night with you -haha And don't annoy Chimera...she earned her nickname for a reason, you know ^_~ Overview Quote: Many young adventurers have made their way here, each with hopes for a good future here in Emania. A young boy, hoping to learn new skills; two young men, brothers-one to be a cleric, the other, a mage(however his brother does not know that; one more young man, hoping to learn the ways of the rogue with the help of a Dal Rich by the name of Rouke Rein; a Moonmaw, enigmatic, follows in the young boy's footsteps, trying his luck with the sword. With a little help from Chimera to guide these people to their proper destination, they all set out on a journey that will test their skills Quote: A young lady trails behind shortly afterwards, searching for the means of which to train as a mage. Chimera reluctantly gives out the informatin, as well as a warning of caution, for as we know, his magesty is not fond of magic weiders. Thanking Chimera, she leaves, not regretting a tip for the barmaid. Topic Updates:21st June 08 - All squeaky clean and ressurected like a pheonix from the flames :3 Thanks to B10 and Andy. ~DT

Vence entered the room, finally enjoying some cool air. He walked aver to an empty table and plopped down, placing the book close to him on the table. He was still skimming through it, to a degree.

Sangre opens the door normal and then he enters and close the door he had a cloak and he was hooded to hide his ears and face. He had a black cloak and then he had bare upper part of the body he had cloth like a fighter and he walked in. He did not like to talk to the surface people they were fools and he hated the big thing on the sky it was hurting his skin and made him almost blind. The surface was very light to his taste and they were very ugly. He sits down in a corner on a table and many did not notice him because he didn’t want to cause any problem. He had strangle and killed humans to get stuff and money he was looking for a good place to train his magic skill he was a good fighter and he could kill any human in few seconds but he wanted to advance his skill so he could turn off the big thing that was in the sky. “Usstan ssrig'luin ulu ragar natha bwael m'elzar" He said with low voice

Vence glanced at the man who entered in the corner of his eye, observing him. Somewhat enigmatic, but he wasn't afraid, or even nervous. He had his ideas on who the man was, and when he spoke, barely audible, it confirmed his speculations.
"Drow," he said softly. He never could understand their language, or their personalities, but he didn't mind; so long as they did him no harm, he would do them no harm.
Brushing the subject out of his mind, as if the man didn't exist, he once more picked up the small book and resumed reading from where he ended. He never got tired of reading, no matter what it was he was reading. After a few minutes, he silently walked up to the bar, not wanting to disturb the silence more than it needed to. placing a few Ikli on the table, he said in a lowered tone, "If you have any, tea would be good to have for me now." He gave a small smile as he waited patiently. He had the day to spare, untill tommorow morning when he had to resume training.

Samson took his money with a nod and motioned for Chimera to make the tea for him. It ahd recahe da quiet point in the day. The old men at teh fire had either moved off back home until the nighttime or had drifted to sleep in the chairs. Samson had never been a man to chase customer sout of the bar. as far as he was concerned, they ned never lave provided they kept on buying drinks. One particular old man never left, and Samson had long ago relaisded that the man actually ahd no home to go to, nor the funds to pay for their room. So he slept in the chair and he bought what dirnks he could, and Samson said nothing about it. He heard teh hiss of Chimera boiling water and lenat on the bar, taking conversationally in a low and quiet voice.
"Had a busy day so far?" He asked.

"Aye, It would be easier if not for the heat here. I've never been accustomed to it. I'd hate to feel how the Desolate Lands would feel on my back." It was true, honestly. He had lived in a temperate climate, leaning more toward the chill, living nearer to mountains. Because of so, he had learned how to brave the cold and gained his endurance and strength thus. As for speed, he would have to say from his mother; when she had been younger, she had been one of the fastest on the block, or so she had told him. He had been faster than that, as far as he knew, but he never said it out lound.
"Eventually I'll have to go there, at least once. But for now i prefer to stay here and grow used to the climate. As for the training, I think I'll pass in no time, but I think Deandric has something up his sleeve. He knows I can best the normal tasks, so he might do something special for me, or he may not."

Samson laughed. "Yer right, the desert's far hotter than this. Anyways, here you get the sea breeze all the time. EWhen teh weather turns it can get downright miserbale - sea frets in the morning, gales and storms. But you're in the right season for decent weather." he smiled, fond of his hometown. "So you're training with Deandric? I figured you as the type. Can't say I know what you're going through, but Deandric can be tougher than he looks, and he doens't exactly look like a puppy. I'd not get too cocky, kid."
Chimera returned with the tea, served in a chipped but clean cup.
"Is that unusual friend of yours training with 'im too?" he aksed, curious about the creature. He hadn't seen a Moonmaw much before, and the thing's eyes unsettle dhim no-end. they were unnatural looking, not even trolls and orcs had eyes like that. "Leats you got compnay, if so."

"Of course. He has potential, Felix; that's his name. He's more accustomed to the bowstaff, but once he's completed warrior training, he can use that and go in for Weapons Master training. I think we'll be with each other for a long while."
He paused for a sip of his tea. It was still quite hot, but he didn't mind. The liquid, regardless of temperature, always refreshed him, and the caffeine gave him somewhat of a boost in energy.
I've known Deandric for a long time. Still, I guess your advice is worth taking. He can be unpredictable sometimes, when the time calls for it."

Samson nodded thoughtfully to himself. "Aye, Deandric'll keep you both on yoru toes. But it's what makes him great."

"Amen, and more." Vence took another drink from his cup before continuing. I am honored to be one of his students. From now on, I'll have to treat him as a teacher, not a friend. A challange for me, but I'm sure it will be beneficial."

"All too true," Was all Vence could say. Taking another sip of tea, and glanced over at the other man again. "I wonder what he's here for. Before...he spoke as a drow. I recognize the language, but I didn't understand a word of it."

Samson rose his busy eyebrows in curisoity, but spoke non-commidedly, obviously careful about what he siad about potential regulars. "No idea. They're not often seen on the surface, that's for sure. Might be travelin', might not even know Common." he shrugged. "Long as he's not causin' trouble."

Sangre was sitting with his amulet and he was hearing exactly every word the humans said. He was listening very carefully because in that way he would not waist his time to kill another surface creature to get information. They were talking about a moonmaw and it was very interesting because he didn’t like them because his mother said that moonmaws are servant and slaves and they don’t have right to be on their own. He didn’t like the things they were saying about him. He took his amulet and looked to them under the hood with his red eyes. “Usstan kat doerrus ghil ulu tai'luen dosst dron dhynen”
