I'm currently reading a new comic by Top Cow called Madame Mirage. It is a very neat super spy story about a woman operative who can change her appearance with super powers. She's very Jessica Rabbit meets Casablanca.

It is written by Paul Dini and produced by Top Cow which is a subsidiary of Image comics (known for Spawn).

So far, it really seems like a good kick butt chick comic. The series is still young so it is a good comic for first time readers because unlike some other superhero comics (x-men, Spawn, Batman, etc) there aren't decades of history to the character to learn before you can understand what's going on.
