rolleyes We do need a little life injected, though. Speaking of injections, which the Romans didn't have, I recently read
Medicus, by Ruth Downie. It's about one Gaius Petreius Ruso, a Roman Army doctor stationed in that Jupiter-forsaken outpost, Britannia. There's mystery, murder, medicine, mud ... and I ran out of M-words. I recommend it highly. There's a second book out about Petreius,
Terra Incognita, but only in hard-cover at the moment.
