  Emotions filled Azzan's mind as he trudged quickly from where his parents and siblings were. He could not describe how he felt as he stormed away; rage, pain, sadness... It was as if his heart was being swallowed by the hate. His ebony hooves stepped carefully and silently as he wandered into the night, his colorless eyes giving off an eerie glow as he did so.

Shade traveled through the darkness like one of it's many shadows, only the bright blue of the flames markings upon her legs and tail, not to mention the long silken mane that matched gave her away. Yet, that was sonly if one looked upon her body ... her eyes were a whole other story, they glowed like the fiery pits of hell, gleaming with an insanity all her own. She moved gracefully, her hooves barely making a sound as they traveled along the litter strewn ground. She was beautiful, she knew it all to well, and she flaunted it with every movement of her small yet powerful body.
An ominous twinkle sounded from the bloody chain stretched loosely between her two extra horns, wait .. normal kalona didn't have four horns and that was all the more a disguise for Shade making the lessers think she wasn't as dangerous as her two horned brethren.
Yet, she was still different, she had once trained a lesser to hunt and that still played in her mind, she had never seen Daray again .. yet she had also told him that she would kill him if she did.
The mare threw back her head and laughed, it was a crazy sound that came out even more eerie thanks to her German accent.

A cackle echoing from not too far off brought Azzan's mind from his brooding. The last thing he wanted right now was to be near anyone. For all he knew it was some do-good-er his mom had enlisted to find out what was wrong with him or some random peppy soquili that would engage him in 'friendly' conversation if they happened upon him. That would put the icing on the cake, some random soquili coming up to him and talking as though it had known him all his life. The though did nothing to improve Azzan's mood, in fact it simply infuriated him more.
Azzan stomped his hoof in anger and set off after the laugh, hell bent on finding the owner of the laugh and letting them know before they got any ideas of friendship that he was wishing to be utterly alone with his misery. Things did not go as planned. As he drew near to the soquili who had cackled, only finding it by chance as all of it's body but some blue flame markings were hidden in the darkness, he realized he had made a mistake. The owner of the markings and of gleaming eyes that showed nothing but malice was none other than a fully grown Kalona. He had never seen one before, but he knew from stories what they were.

Shade stepped into a ray of moonlight that glowed off her mane and slick black coat, she was indeed an evil beauty in all it's glory and she flaunted it even to lure idiots in close. She was small and dainty for a kalona, her long mane kept perfectly groomed and her coat was cleaned so that it shone. Beneath her black coat, muscles like coiled steel rippled in gracious waves down her body making the sparkles shine.
Whether she had noticed him or not at the moment one probably couldn't say, then again she likely wouldn't be to afraid of him anyway.
The mare stretched up her wings, the dark trees looked hazy through the semi-transparent yet sparkling wings. Her tail was flicking slowly back and forth behind her the blue flames roaring halfway up it's length seeming to almost be alive with the movements.
She finally scented him and those glowing eyes, full of hell's fury turned in his direction and she sneered before speaking up, her German accent making her voice beautiful but dark and dangerous at the same time "it's not wise to spy on me lesser."

Azzan's anger and temper had the best of him, and without thinking he replied to the kalona. "Why would I spy on you, if anything I suspect you were spying on me..." His tone had been cold and full of anger. After realizing this he wished he had held his tongue. Though kalona's could be good they were mostly violent killing machines. She was smaller than he had first though a kalona would be, but size wasn't everything. For all he knew she could easily kill him, though he hopped he was strong enough to at least survive. If he wasn't, then how could he ever stand up to his mother. An idea sprang to his mind, but he wouldn't dare mentioning it right then.

A laugh resonated from deep within the mare's gut pushing itself up her throat and out of her jaws.
What a fool he was, maybe she should teach him a lesson. "Honey, if I had been the one doing the spying you wouldn't have known it, as it i you were the one stomping through the woods like a buffoon not I." Her tail flicked again and she wrinkled her muzzle for a second, he smelled faintly like a dog .. well namely one of the skinwalkers. She'd talked once with a close acquaintance of trying to form an alliance between their breeds but she had doubts about it.
One dainty eyebrow arched above her eye as she looked him up and down, he didn't look as rough as a skinwalker, and of course he had no pelt, nor did he look like any kind of flesh eater .. yet she had once taught another lesser to feast on flesh so he could be a flesh eater is his parentage came down from a skinwalker.
