A tiny little black bundle of joy was she My Tootsie, when she was but a pup Her mother a chocolate and her father a shepard So full of energy and spunk She chased after kitties and yipped in the night Tootsie was the joy of life, and she is taken from me.
Who would know that one small organ is the basis of our life And if it fails, we shall die A kidney, a kidney did fail.
All I can give is a song And the love in my heart To my sweet angel
No more can she run after the kitties Leap after her favorite toy Or eat the treats she so loved.
I can hope now that she runs through the meadows With her old friend Peaches To chase the kitties To leap after her favorite toy And eat the treats she loves.
But she left me behind And I can only hope she has found Heaven And to see once again my sweet angels two.
In loving memory of my puppy Tootsie. Who died of kidney failier on March 31, 2008. And also for Peaches. Who died of old age in October. crying

A sad poem about how much it hurt when something you love goes away. It's a beautiful poem

Oh what a tragic event, Treky! You know she is watching over you, for you did show her so much love! Though her time was brief, it was filled with love. *hug*
