Rainbow wandered quietly around an empty meadow. Usually, he didn't wander too far away from his parents, but today was different. Today he didn't feel like staying by his parents because his older sibling had come to visit. His family would simply be talking for hours on end, something the colt was not interested in. Especially since Rainbow's relationship with his brother was pretty non-exsistant.
So he found himself without a purpose and a little on edge. After all, he wasn't to keen on being alone, not when something scary could appear at any moment. Looking though, it appeared that he was alone for the time being. All around him was quiet, which was something he liked, but something felt wrong. Rainbow found this feeling quite strange and did his best to ignore it.

Lucifer giggled as he stalked a grasshopper in the long reeds of grass, the young colt found interest in pretending to be a scary 'mumsterrz' as he called them , after seeing how scary marie could be. The grass hopper began to chirp with it's legs and with a cowardly display of shock Lucifer yelped loudly and galloped in the opposite direction. "MONSTERRRR!"
The grasshopper also looked stunned, since as lucifer ran away he ended up stepping on the poor thing, killing it instantly.

Just as he was starting to relax, Rainbow heard a loud noise from somewhere nearby. It sounded as if someone had just yelled, 'monster'. This noise was enough to send the colt up in the air and back down again. Rainbow landed with a thud on the ground, causing dirt to cover his colored legs. What had made the noise? Wait, would he even want to know? What if it was something scary?
