I doubt that many of you have heard of that strong soul known as SereneStrength. She passed away on 6/17/2008 from cancer. I spoke to her on 6/16, the day before she passed. I regret that I never got to know her, because I heard such wonderful things about her.
And I just figured that it would nice if a few of you guys could leave her some things on her profile. [picture = clickable link]
I just wanted to have somewhere I could talk about it other than the guild dedicated to her.
I know that I probably shouldn't feel bad about not knowing her, but there's a nagging in the back of my brain about it. I can't stop thinking about it; and I never thought that I would cry over the death of someone that I didn't know.
Anyways... thanks <3

|•|Hearing about someone dying is always quite sad. Even if you've never spoken to them in your life. Sometimes, you just wish that you'd gotten a chance to know them and to be a part of their struggle. I think it gives people a sense of belonging. That...someone needed them and wanted to share their inner most issues with them.
My heart goes out to her friends and family. heart

I regret so much not getting to know her. But I know that she is in such a better place now. And she won't suffer anymore. <3

I left a comment and my profile is officially pink for Nancy. <333
She seemed so strong... I mean, she was able to joke about it and everything! I think I really would have liked her if I had ever gotten to meet her.

I posted a comment on her and her sisters profile. I left it this late because I thought I would be able to think of something to write, but in this situation there aren't many words that can help.

Auntie - Yeah, I agree with you. She seemed like a girl I could be with. <3
Kirst - When someone dies it isn't always the easiest to think of something to say, and mean it from the heart, I understand that. xD

... Oh... oh my... /shock/ I've never heard of this person, but... well, dying is not fun for other people. My granddad died from cancer a few years back (and for some reason, I wasn't sad. People dying doesn't make me sad. I know I'll never see them again, but I'm not upset), so I know kind of what it's like. It's okay, maggot-san. Eventually the horror will dull a little bit and you can heal, hopefully back to normal, but with trauma like a death, well, some times people are not quite the same. (that was... very... serious of me. And, of course, overly dramatic, but my words never come out quite right at these times.)
Also... when I first opened this thread I was listening to Caramell Dansen. (>.<) If ever there was a song that did not fit this mood, that's it. xD

dimi-san: That kind of thing happens to me all the time. I was listening to this one rock song while reading a love poem. xD (Not for me, just one my friend made me read /"omg its soooo sad u hav 2 reed it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!/ ) maggot-san: I need to find you and give you a hug. NO ONE PERSON SHOULD GO THROUGH ALL THAT. I will try and fix it... If you don't mind my asking, what happened to your friend?

(^_^) I totally understand that. My friends will be talking about something, and I'll remember this funny thing I saw and just laugh and laugh, and they'll be like, "... That wasn't funny..." And like right now. This is a thread about someone who died and I'm totally off topic. (<<|>>|<<) Oh man. I-I'm not being disrespectful! Really! /flail/ I just don't know how do deal with sad things! gonk
