i'll say you have to be a really good with the bow but yeah you can kill zombies with razor tip arrow...most likely any arrows would kill them

A bow can be both a blessing and a burden.
The blessings:
- Silent kills.
- You can retrieve your ammo if it was a single zombie.
- Can set fire to arrows for more uses.

The burdens:
- Takes extreme skill to hit the head, let alone hit the brain. Most skulls will halt that arrow and then you've got yourself noticed. You'd have to shoot into an eye socket or a temple.
- Wind and gravity must be taken into account, especially since you're probably not going to be on flat land, nor will you probably very close.
- Arrows can be hard to find post looters and such. Unless you can make your own arrows, your private supply will grow dull, break, etc. Like wise you're string can break and you'd need another one which might be hard to find.

Overall, unless you're an expert on everything bow related I'd stay away. Especially since you'll probably not need to use it often.

well all of this is true besides the fact the string will break because i'm not using a recurve so string won't be a problem and distance i have range from about 75 yards to hit a gallon of water

to the equation "Arrows + Zombies =?" the anwser would be "useless" the anwser is useless because 1 Arrows are useless without a bow or crossbow and 2 Zombies are too stupid to use then anyway! to change this equation to make more sence we would say "Fully loaded, Bow weilding Zslayer + Zombie at 20M =?" now we solve useing algebra! WxG+N to the 3rd power=PQR PQR angles down at 2* per M and the effect is accelerated accordingly to WxG W=4mph at East SE and G=1neton per gram assuming that the arrow wheighs 2 mg give now that W=4 with a 3* variable to the right and G=1.334* per M you can figure that your bolt would fall about 2 1/2 inches and go right 9* by the time the bolt or arrow leaves the bow or crossbow and hits the target so instead of hitting "dead" (heh heh Z humor) center you need to move Left 1 5/16 of a notch and up about 3-3 3/5 of a notch in your scope biggrin I hope your brain doesn't hurt because you need to think faster than normal to calculate allow space for the unknown verables like the zombie closing in on you and firerate-to-run ratio
