Before I sleep, I'll post this link to this huge write-up about Head (courtesy of Kornspace.

Phoenix New Times

I love how the reporter misconstrued some of what Jonathan said and how he depicts 'metal fans' to be godless ill-willers confused . Other than that, it's pretty insightful, albeit a bit biased. LOL and yup, Korn is popular in Indonesia 3nodding

They vilified Jonathan a bit, kinda frustrated me.. it was one of those articles that made Korn and their fans look like depressed thugs, obsessed with violence, debauchery and self-mutilation. Head was made to look like a hero (albeit in some ways, I guess he can be considered that if you think about it), a champion of the triumph of morality over 'evil'.

Nonetheless, I still found the article an interesting read. Not having read Head's book (don't have much of a chance to either), I found it informative about his background and some of the crap he had to face.

>[Interesting read indeed. Although I did read Heads first book and I was impressed at how unbiased it really was. He didnt depict the band or the fans as anything negative actually. I just kind of wish that the person who wrote this could actually have written it in the same light instead of trying to put Head up on some pedestal and throwing Jon and the fans under some 'godless' bus.]<

Ironically, many of Korn's fanbase including Jonathan himself are 'godless'. What the media need to learn is that godlessness does not necessarily equate to lawlessness and immorality. There are a lot of Athiests/Agnostics who are better people than Christians out there...

>[It all comes down to ignorance. The scared masses think of people like us a threat to their beliefs and therefore they feel the need to trash it and make us look like crazy rioters.]<

Wtf, Head was the lead/"star" guitarist? o__O

Lol, more sensationalism! I didn't even notice that xD

Meh in my book, Munky and Head were equal in their contributions to Korn's sound - they were two halves of a guitarist whole. Korn had no 'lead' guitarists stare

>[Totally agreed Irene. I think after this whole thing started some people decided to put Head up on some pedestal and treat him like he was more than he really was. He wasnt a lead, and he wasnt better than any of the other guys. He was just another equal part of a whole and people need to remember that.]<
