 Dragoon had been sore for days after her fight with Alcyone, but it had been a fun one and she had learned things as well. In her wandering around the mountain and found a cold water spring that felt so good to soak in. On one side of the lake trees came within a few feet of the shore and the other was rocky with shurbs behind the rocks.
A ripping sound was heard as a dark portal opened up as Dragoon walked out, in the process scareing all the birds near the rocky part of the shore. Looking around to make sure that no one was following her. As she was still scared of a sertan someone finding her once more. Satifised that she wasn't followed and steped the rest of the way out of the portal that closed behind her once she was clear of it. Walking towards her favorite spot as she was looking at the sky. Thinking that she could soak for a little bit and the sun would be perfect for sunbathing on a large rock she was heading towards. At the waters edge, she diped a paw to test the tempature and found that it was to her likeing and waded in and sat down were only her head was showing above the water.

 Jabril hummed a nameless tune to himself, as he speared a wringling frog with his claws and hauled it up to the shoreline. He couldn't manipulate sound in the manner of the divine Professor Nebilim, but Science always made him cheerful.
He turned the creature over and severed its spinal cord with a deft swipe of his scalpel. Flailing limbs would ruin his experiment.
"A'ight now." He grinned. "Let's see if ye last longer than yuir brothers!"
Jabril rolled his sleeves up and got to work on his impromptu surgery. Professor Nebilim was occupied, and mere frogs were beneath her genius, so his only audience was the pile of mutilated amphibian corpses he had stacked behind him.

With her mind in a have doze when her ears cocked foward as she had heard a noise near one of the shores of the small lake. Ears swivled around to find the sorce of the noise and hope that it wasn't another Nobody that she didn't know. When finding the sorce of the noise, Dragoon carefully swam towards it. She thought if she really need to retreact she could fly, but with her cursosity was a little intreged and she wasn't as sore eather to go and investigate.
Getting nearer she relaxed more as it wasn't what she was thinking. But still wondered on what he was doing and he didn't look like he could harm her as her fighers eye was seeing now, but still didn't let her guard all the way down. Quietly comming to shore. "What are you doing there?" As she cocked her head to the side stumped on what he was doing as her back claws were digging in the soft wet earth.

Jabril, distracted by fascinating frog guts, did not turn his head to see who was looking at him. If he had, he might have done a double-take. Dragoon was a very rare specimen.
"Why, science, o'course," the scientist said, in his customary brogue. "Wha' 're ye doin'?"
Jabril cracked open the frog's rib cage with a flick of his wrist, then clapped his front paws together with delight. The lungs were still moving! Wonderful! He could see the ink organs inflate in and out, beneath a thin sheen of blood.

She couldn't see his fancination of the frog guts, but she did think that they did look good enought to eat and something new to try as well.
Walking over to the pile of frogs and giveing them a sniff. "I was soaking my sore body here in the lake and takeing in the sites. But how could looking at frogs be science?" But then found those frog a little to smelly for even her, but then turned to watch him with fasination as he was takeing apart the frog in his paws and knew the meaning of the word but hadn't seen it.

"Why, t'see how they work, o'course!" Jabril said, looking more than a little taken-aback. Fancy living the joyless life of a layman who knew nothing of science! It was almost too terrible a fate for him to contemplate.
"Yuir nae goin' t'learn anyth'n about th' body if ye donae poke around inside it."

Dragoon thought long and hard on what Jabril was talking about. But couldn't wrap her mind around it very simply. As she knew there was one of the orgization members that fiddled with science as she heard from others. Just shruging as her fighting mind would never get the finer details of Science. She was still learning to get use to her Kitsu body as it was much diffrent that her other one.
"That is true, we learn from our experences. I never came across science in my other life as I was a fighter. But I see now that its just another type of learning." she said as much as she could understand. "So what other things do you do?" she asked as she took a closer look at the frog he was working on and gave it a sniff to learn something.

Jabril thought about that for a second. A very long second. What did he do other than science? Occasionally he went drinking with his siblings, but he hadn't been by the HQ in a while, and he wasn't sure if they still stocked alcohol after the incident with the proton converter.
"... I s'pose I do math, as well," he conceded, before pasting on a cheerful smile. "Ye know, if ye want t'unnerstand science better, I could try demonstratin' some on yuir body. A fighter like ye is nae afraid of a few electroshocks or pinpricks, yeh?"

Other than simple math was beyond her and she knew it. As she was more of a paws on type and she did love a good fight. But then thought about the resent fight she had and she did wonder if that Nobody part of herself would come to light once more.
Dragoon really didn't know where he was going with his last comment but thought it would be some fun to learn something new. "That is true, I have taken worse beating and lived," she said puffing her chest out a little as she was proud fighter but humble when need be.
