City of Crin
Transportation
Since its imposable to actually drive underground, in the tight curves, heavy darkness, and unpredictable cavework, most transportation is done with sky boards. The items where once used by humans, entertainment mostly, as well as the sport of broqua--which was actually created by the humans, the only touch the hybrids had in it was the small modifications they did. They used the boards, because the texture and volatility of the floors is such a variable. It could go from being flat and smooth, to a sheer drop, to a steep incline, as well as the walls and roof, which sometimes squeezes space enough that even the sky boards have to be taken under an arm to squeeze threw.
Food
Food is grown in underground nurseries. The kind of meat that is eaten is as varied as the kind of meat that humans ate; chicken, cow, rabbit, deer, goat, turkey, and anything else I might have missed, but few actually eat the meat. It is considered barbaric for a Ryoe to eat animal. The elves * depending on who your talking about* usually don’t eat meat, but there are a few who do, the ones who are the largest consumers of meat are the dragonoid hybrids, the Ryoes who are a mix of mostly meat eating animals anyway, and the mix-blooded elves--several types of elves quite enjoy meat.
Fruits and vegetables are grown, but that's a really wide subject so I wont get into that.
Housing
The houses are basically underground mass apartments. There is only one entrance per complex, but this entrance is quite massive: measuring fifty doors wide and thirty high. The stair cases to each door are each encased in a tunnel of an almost unbreakable glass hybrid, they fan out like a spider web from each porch, each weaving threw the other so that there is never a straight walk to the door that you are going to. However, this design is not without its point. Since the stairs are so long and so unstable on their own--like a rope bridge--this netting style keeps it stable in the same way that the woven thread of a shirt keeps the cloth strong. There are always at least a few hundred rooms, always the exact same size, but a " House" size can very greatly depending on how many apartments the Ryoe, elf, or dragon buys. Someone who is really wealthy can have an above ground dome made so they can look out at the sky and earth, but seeing the dead ground and bloody sky wouldn't really be considered a luxury to most.
The thing that the above ground domes are used for most is sky surfing. There are many sky surfing parks for children and adults alike, but since there is no real contact with the sky or its air currents, the air has to be artificially controlled. It is only the true sky surfers that can take their boards outside and test their stills against the air, but even they can only go out after years of adapting their bodies to the outside and getting resistant to the crippling affects of the radiation that kills most. Admitfully, the life expectancy of a sky surfer is shorter then most.
