My Prayers have been answered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(27 exclamation points)
Hot Damn. I love Nintendo and hate PC shooters, but Team Fortress is too full of Win.
Tell me when they hand out Portal on a silver platter.
*people at Nintendo staring at the ground in shame*
Edit: Those bastards messed up my sprite!
scream Allright. Just eight more hours now.
Allright, guys. Tell me what class I want. In Battlefront 2, I'd choose a Technician because they could kill people in a second around corners with their shotgun, got bonus points for shanking vehicle users, and could help others and themselves survive with their extra supplies.
Would I enjoy using a spy?
Oh, and if somebody needs a sniper, call on me. I did that too.
Apparently Valve has given Portal away free for users with nVidia cards. They showed that sometime last week.
Anywho, here are some key points on the classes:
Attack ClassesScout: fast, can double jump, and takes CPs as if he were two players.
Soldier: Slower than average, but has extra hit points, and can rocket jump by shooting at his own feet. Did I mention he uses a rocket launcher?
Pyro: His flamethrower sets all non-friendlies (including cloaked/disguised spies, excluding pyros) on fire, causing more damage over time.
Defense ClassesDemoman: Aside from being hilariously Scottish, his first weapon is basically a grenade launcher with bouncing grenades, and his second weapon shoots pipe bombs that stick to surfaces, then detonate remotely using right click. This also lets him access high places.
Heavy: REALLY SLOW, but REALLY HIGH HP. His minigun takes a second to get to speed, but it's very powerful at short to medium range. Using right click, you can keep the moving so you do not have to heat up your gun -- he'll be even slower, though.
Engineer: Here is my preferred class. His weapons are nothing special, but he can build sentries that can be upgraded two times, dispensers that dispense health and ammo to friendlies, and one way teleporters (two parts).
Support ClassesSniper: Just what the name says. Stay zoomed in to make your shot more powerful. Always aim for the head.
Medic: Second weapon heals friendlies, and after their health is full, it will continue to fill to 150% (making them a particular friend to Heavies). As you heal, your Uberchage will fill. When full, you use right click to deploy ubercharge, making you and whoever you are healing invincible for ten seconds--just don't get separated.
Spy: On all weapons, right click makes you invisible. You can also disguise yourself as any class on the enemy team, keeping you safe from sentries so long as you don't fire your gun or swipe your knife. Your knife is an instant kill if you stab someone in the back. Your sappers sap health out of enemy buildings (engineer's) shutting them down. They can, however, be broken off by the engineer's wrench.
