Felix lay back on the soft, springy grass by the sunning rocks, reflecting on how perfect life was. A cool spring breeze lifted the branches as they swayed in rhythm with the wind. Days like these should last forever, he thought. He patted his ruffled fur down and contentedly stared up at the clouds.

Tabor had been out walking, anything to get away from home at this point. He kept his eyes on the ground, determined not to trip, not to step on an anthill, and just generally not to have any bad luck. The only problem with looking at ones feet while walking is that you can't see what's ahead. Realizing this he looked up to find he was near the sunning rocks. Still walking, he tripped, falling and landing a few feet away from Felix.
"Ow...." he grumbled, picking himself back up.

Felix looked up, startled, at the sound of Tabor falling. His dark pelt clearly contrasted the lush green grass. "Are you ok?" he asked, worried about the stranger. "The rocks here are sharp at the edges. Are you hurt?" Felix noticed some white markings near on Tabor's hind leg, making a 13. Hmm, that's exactly where my lucky clover is, he examined.

Tabor got up and looked at the foot he had tripped with. It was bleeding slightly, but nothing huge. It didn't even really hurt too bad.
"No I'm fine, it happens a lot...." he tried to keep a distance from Felix, three feet to be exact. He then sat and attempted to lick the blood off his foot.

Felix stared in half-shock at the blood, but didn't make any remarks. He closed his gaping mouth and tried not to think about the accident that had occurred a long, long time ago. "Well then," he prompted, "Would you like me to fetch some cobwebs? I hear they're good for stopping the bleeding." He looked akwardly down at his feet as he made his offer, as it sounded kind of stupid.

Tabor looked up and shrugged, "I suppose, if you think it will help...." he said quietly, returning then to cleaning the scrape.

"Alright then," Felix replied, relieved that the other namir wasn't offended. He searched around the base of the tree he was sitting near, and sure enough, there was a pawful of sticky cobwebs. He snatched them quickly and walked back to Tabor, carefully patting the cobwebs down in place.

As soon as the cobwebs were on Tabor moved a good three feet away from Felix in a short amount of time.
"Thank you..." he said, sitting down once his aura of bad luck was finally out of range of the kind stranger. He didn't want to cause this Namir any bad luck as he'd done to so many others...

"You're welcome," Felix replied cheerily, oblivious to the distance between him and the other namir. "So, what's your name, and what brings you up here?" he inquired, clearly curious about the stranger's whereabouts.

"My name is Tabor...Hungarian for Misfortune...And I was just wandering about, trying to get away from everyone...Though I suppose i fail at that too..." he sighed then looked back up at Felix, "Don't take it in a bad way however, I'm just what most would call "Anti-social"..." he paused and looked up at the sky, then looked back at Felix, "So, what about you?"

Felix perked his ears up at Tabor's strange reason to wander around. "Well, hi there, Tabor. I'm Felix, my name's supposed to bring me luck, and I suppose I've certainly had some luck, finding you to talk to." He paused and sighed a little. "I don't suppose you're going to stay and talk to me?"

Tabor thought about this. He hadn't anything he needed to do, and he figured if the Namir was lucky he couldn't do too much to harm him.
"I suppose...It could be a nice change to talk to someone..." he replied with a light shrug.

Felix twitched nervously as Tabor gave his reply, breaking into a wide smile as he agreed to talk. "Thanks, you have no idea how boring it is here." Felix thought for a moment before continuing. "Say, Tabor, did you mention something about bad luck?"

Tabor nodded, "Yeah, I've had a run in with Bad luck and it's left it's mark...." he gestured to the mark on his hind leg, an ominous white number 13. He sighed, concentrating on not bringing up his childhood, "SO why the interest in Luck Felix? Particularly my unfortunate type..." He was generally curious about the question, as most left it at the facts that He had generally poor luck.

"Oh, no specific reason," he replied. "It's just that the thirteen on your hind leg reminded me of that time I..." he trailed off, realizing he might have revealed too much.
