[PRP] Surprise? I am in the family now, haha!

The black mare with erratic red stripes all over her body eyes her children as they played around in the meadow half way out of their home territory. She stood under the tall tree to take advantage of the shade provided by the tree, occasionally she will shout out to the children to be careful and not wander off too far. This day is a perfect day for them to wander away from the home 'land' because the sun is high in the skies but there is breezes to counteract the heat, and there is no predators as far as the mother's eyes could see.

Zaicate suddenly runs out to her children to scold them for whatever they did wrong. Her coat twitches as the pesky flies tries to land and feed off her, she bucks around her children pretending to have fun with them. "Play with me, little ones" She grins at her children but there is annoyance glimmering in her burnt gold eyes.

With Zaicate watching the children, Shizuka had taken the opportunity to patrol his territory for any threats or even surprise visitors, since during the last few days he had had to scare off a few sneaky predators and such. It was thanks to his mother's familiar, Kaine, that he had even found them, but Kaine had long since returned to his mother's side. News from his family was scarce these days, but he didn't mind; he focused on his own new family now. A mate and three kids, he thought to himself, somewhat amused as he chatted lightly with a few of the neighboring creatures who lived in his home.

As he approached the clearing where his family was hanging out, he spied two familiar figures he, for certain, was not expecting.

His parents.

"What... Mother never sent Kaine to inform me of her visiting, and Father is with her, too!" He quickened his pace, hoping to meet with his parents first to give them the news and hoping to get their reactions out of their system before Rahu decided to destroy the surreal peace that had finally settled on his territory. "Mother! Ra... Father, welcome! You came with no warning! What's this now? Did you miss me already, though it has only been a few days?" He teased lightly.


"You're stubborn as always, Rahu," Aruna said as she led her mate towards Shizuka's home. It had been incredibly hard to convince him to come and visit Shizuka after the whole incident where her oldest came and attacked her mate. It was the strangest thing, since, as a young colt, Shizuka had adored his father to pieces! But she learned later on that he had found out about their past, and was only pissed off because he felt that he and siblings were merely a fling--something that had just "happened", and this hurt her the most to know that was what he thought.

She loved her children as dearly as her own parents loved her, and so, she had to do something in order to clear up Shizuka's misunderstanding... luckily, Raum was there to stop them for a short moment, but in the end the two had gotten into a full-fledged fight. She glared at the stallion that was next to her. "Rahu, please show some respect when we visit, okay?" With her familiar, Kaine, following them from above, Shizuka's voice caught her attention and she smiled automatically. It was always nice to see her children after they had grown up and moved on... it's too bad she couldn't bring herself to see her own parents, for she felt shamed in a way... "Shizuka! Hello! Oh, I'm so sorry, I wasn't thinking! You know, it was quite difficult to get your father to visit, so it completely fled my mind!" she called back, nudging Rahu.


He giggled as he played with his mother and siblings, Zerachiel and Arashi. Being the youngest, it was yet to be known that Reizt would grow up to be a mare-hater. For the moment, though, he was a young, innocent, happy colt content with life. He had loving family, and was enjoying his short freedom away from the cavern where he lived. "Mama," he called happily as he tried to catch her tail. However, with his new legs still wobbly from recently breaking out of the basket that had kept him safe, he stumbled and fell across his brother accidentally. This, however, only caused him to laugh helplessly.

" from all i hear theres never a time im not." grunting he had been very reluctant to even bother coming along specialy after the last meeting he had with his older of his two sons. snorting he rolled his eyes as his son came and greeted them and it seemed Aruna had caught his eye roll. " yeah yeah" grumbling, he gave a grunt. "must we go over this again?" nipping at her he then eyed his son. " blame your mother not me for this visit."

Zer grinned and laughed." mom your being silly and you beeign silly is oooooooodd!" boundign around his brother he then stoped and nosed at him. "silly" tail flicking he flopped next to his brother. though he was charming enough he actualy could be a snarky, rude little b*****d when he wanted and more than likey he would have simular hate for mares as well which is where he would use his charming ways. yawning, he was starting to get bord but little did he know some unexpected arrivals where showing up.

Zaicate suddenly stops as Arashi comes around and she hears familiar voices from the distance, she sighs softly as she looks down at her daughter. "Your grandparents... they are coming to visit us." She quietly says with a scowl on her face. She is evidently not happy about the thought of meeting Rahu again but now she is in the family so she can rub that fact in his face when she sees him now with her children surrounding her. She is obviously ignoring Zerachiel's jibes because she is not in mood to punish him or yell at him for being a smartass at the moment.

"Lets meet them, shall we?" Zaicate looks at her children with a dry smile on her face then she proceeds in ushering them toward Shizuka. She knows that this meeting will be anything but peaceful and happy.

He grinned widely, though on the inside he was tensing ever slowly. Aruna and Rahu knew nothing of him having a mate, let alone even a family, and now they had arrived completely unannounced... it wasn't going to be a happy and cheerful reunion, that was for certain. "Oh, you know I'd never blame you, Dad," he replied, his tone heavily sarcastic but managing to keep the peace because his mother was there.

The entire family was scared of Aruna, because she seemed to control even Rahu, which scared her children aside from Ketsu, who... seemed to have disappeared to do her own thing these days. He hadn't seen his sister in ages... and the last time he saw his baby brother was when he was dueling against his father and lost miserably... bah.

His ears twitched as he heard approaching hoofsteps, and he knew his family was approaching to greet his parents. He was somewhat edgy as his foals were all wild and untamed and uncontrollable, but there was nothing he could do about that considering their bloodline. Oh, well, he thought.

Dad's always had some kind of attraction with foals, if I remember correctly, he continued his line of thought, smug. Wonder how he's gonna handle having more grandkids... heheheheh. He only smiled at his mother, somewhat exasperated with her but he still loved her.

She rolled her eyes at her mate and then nuzzled him to show him she was only teasing, and then grinned over at her son, before spotting the little foals along with a mare she did not know. Curious, she glanced back at Shizuka, tilting her head to let him know she wanted introductions, now.

He grinned brightly at his sister, ignoring her bad mood that seem to be reflecting off their mother, and tackled Zerachiel, taking advantage of his brother's boredom. "Haha!" he sneered. "Catch me now, brother!" he went dashing away, towards their guests whom he did not see, having far too much fun and also a bit busy trying to get away from the old brother. "Zer is a slow-poke, Zer is a slow-poke!" he called over his shoulder, a smirk gracing his cute face.

Rahu growled as he caught Shiz's sarcasticness but kept his mouth shut regardless cause if he did there would only be a fight breaking out. nipping at Aruna for her nuzzle, he too then caught sight of foals. oh hell no.....he did not want to deal with foals. eyes narrowing, he now was musing over what in the damn hell some foals where doing around here that is til he noticed Zai whom he reconized as he had met her when she was a foal before. " what the hell is going on here......" giving a low growl he wasn't going to enjoy this.

Zer grumbled and yelled while chasign his brother. " IM GONNA GET YOU BROTHER." he too hadn't noticed the group ahead of them and all he was intent on was catching his brother just because he tackled him and started a game. as for his sister, he didn't feel like geting into a fight with her as his temper had a short fuse as is and his siter knew how to push his buttens tat triggered his temper. he hardly trusted anyoen but family which was why he liked to be a rude jurk to other foals he met.

Raum was walking along with Ramus who had a little filly following along by the name of dafius. raum had known well before his father about ramus' kids and not too long ago he had met them. ramus had wanted his grandmother aruna to meet atlest one of is kids and so he took along dafius on the trip who had demanded to come along. Raum was not gonna be all too thirled when he would run into his brother along with zai and their foals.

Zaicate smirks faintly as she could see that Rahu spotted her and the foals that is staying close to her and she bows her head in mocking manner to him. "Hello Rahu... have you met your grandchildren?" She says in terse manner as she tries to fight the urge to snap or attack Rahu because the foals is present along with an unknown mare standing next to Rahu. Her burnt gold eyes drifts toward Aruna in curious manner then she looks at Shizuka, waiting for him to introduce them. She have a feeling that this unfortunate mare is the mate of the dreaded stallion (Rahu) standing in front of her.
