well for the past few days, mine has been getting heavier and it has been brown.. and my period has been gone for awhile so i dont think its that.
it also smells a little aswell. should i tell my mom about this?

I've been told by a doctor that having brown or even black discharge is normal ( I went in to ask about that 'cause mine was totally brown.. ) As for the smell... I can't tell you much since I'm seeing my doctor about that tomorrow xD I guess it would depend on the smell though.. like, how it smells. But I dunno.. LorienLlewellyn or Nikolita will be able to tell you more I'm sure. ^^'

Fia is right, it's normal to have brown discharge, especially if you are near your period or ovulation.
As for the smell, it's difficult for us to say whether it's normal because some smells are normal while others are not, and we can't actually smell you over the internet! A healthy v****a does have some smell, but if you smell very strong or very fishy, it could be a sign that you have an infection or even that you forgot to take your last tampon out. If you're unsure, ask your mom about it and see if she can schedule an ob-gyn appointment for you.
