This area lies North of the Squirlat Forest and High Above and to the east of the Dangerous Lava Springs. Only Coniferous trees and brush grow in this harsh constantly winter climate. The Snow here is several feet thick, with an ice coating on top. The snow drifts are high and the only shelter are the few speratic gatherings of trees.
