I wrote this during my class and I'm not sure if your accepting rp ideas but here goes...
The five deitys above had become very bored, and turned their eyes onto the town of Linoon. They created a meteor shower over Linoon, and inside of it were many orbs of power descending toward unknowing civilians. The ones that were randomly chosen were overcome for a single overpowering instant, when they were given a message.
"You are one of the many that have been granted two of the vast powers of the five deitys who rule over your world. You can do with them as you wish, but know that there will be people like you who were given power and will try to take yours. Should you gather all the powers that descended upon Linoon, you will become the sixth deity."
Will you strike down your fellow civilians for power? Or will you band together to survive the ordeal? The choice is yours.
The time is present day, and I'll be trying to keep up an accurate map of everyones whereabouts. There will be quite a few NPCs given power as well to fight. This is a last one standing sort of rp so there will be many fights. Should you be slain, you can restart until the story progresses too far. I'll post the rest of the stuff once I get some approval, but the map will take awhile and I would like suggestions on it.

It sounds interesting. Get a little more detail to it perhaps as well as a application for how you want people to make their characters. Having more RPs is always fun. whee

It sounds promising Nalei. There really isn't anything against making another rp, give more of a variety of styles so you are welcome to make it. 3nodding

This topic is where you will post your character. Wait till everything is set up though.
(Any ideas or changes are welcomed)
Helpful info
*The orbs are a vibrant silver with an image of the power inside.
*When touched (unmerged) or focused on (merged) a name and description appears in your mind
*If slain, your orbs of power rise and hover above you. Anyone can grab them so be careful when fighting or you may only help someone else.
*If knocked out, you keep your orbs.
*Those with power orbs can see a silver aura over others that have them. The thicker the aura, the more powers they have and sensable presence they give off.
*There will be NPCs to take power from as well that are spread out.
*Orbs of power merge with its weilder and can only be taken when they will it or they die. Weilders can pull them out whenever they choose to bargain or trade.
*If slain, you can make another character as long as openings are available.
*When one has substantially more power than another, (8+) their prescense will overwhelm the other, giving a feeling of great fear and paranoia.
*How many powers you have affect their overall performance. Once you have 10 the powers will be at top performance. Like a fireball at 2 powers may be a baseball, but at 10 may be bigger than a soccer ball. There will be probably 50 powers.
*Should you get a power you already have, they will all be used when you try to use one. Like instead of 1 fireball, you would cast two fireballs.
*Any power can be charged for about 10 seconds to double its overall performance.
*Since this is a game to the 5 deities, should they get bored they may interfere.
*Any type of gun used against one with powers is nulled by a barrier the deities control.
*I'll be trying to make and keep up a map of everyones wherabout so please at the bottom of your post put (your location)
*I doubt we'll get that far, but when one gets half the powers they can only get more power by defeating the other with half the powers. Ones they slay, or people that slay others and would go over half, the resulting orbs will fade away and reappear in a specific area in the city. That area will only be known by me until another finds it. You can find it by stumbling upon it or being close enough to sense the orbs. Leaving the city will also send your orbs here.

Orbs of Power: 2 (you start with only 2 powers)

Characters will choose a color that will be a shape on the map to represent them.

Can't help ya with the map idea, not much for that kinda thing if a drawing is what you are after. However, I shall be looking forward to this little battle royale...

I applaud ya on the city map. Looks nice. Hmm...for some other buildings, how about a dojo, a small fairgrounds perhaps, or heck even a black market. lol
|

Dojo is on the lower right on Trinity road left of the theatere. Hmm I'll try to make it bigger or clearer tomorrow. You'll just have to strain your eyes today. I'll need some idea to update it for version 2 then... Hair salon! Thats what I forgot...I'll figure out where to put it as well. I need some companies that are needed like the electric company lets see things i'm currently missing.

Some major places like the manor and such I'll describe, but the generic places like the resteraunts and such are yours to describe. Like Luigi's italian resteraunt from the zodiac rp. When I make the final one(prolly version 3 or 4) it will be with paint tools and will look a lot better. Then if we have everything else taken care of, we can start.

Well any building with necessary things like a police station or fire station would most likely have the name of the town at the first of it. (Like Linoon Police Station)

yea, I've updated it more while confusing my teacher lol. He gave a hard quiz while I had only been polishing the map all hour and I aced it. I bet he had a whole 'use your time wisely' speech ready. I'll be skipping the second one since i've filled everything and going straight to a paint version. Should be done by the weekend.
