She had emerged from her basket not too long ago and here she was already out in the world. Her parents would have it no other way. Being independent was important in her family and Keira wanted to see the world. Everything was so big... and bright. Almost too bright... She had only met her family and wanted to see the rest of the world. But already, at this young age, Keira was showing signs of definitely being a part of Ariston and Heartless's family. She was showing sensitivity to light and was already showing her vanity. Her father, Keiran, had mentioned how she had uncles and grandparents and now, she was curious to find out what they were like. Of course she had heard nothing but good news about her grandparents. But were her uncles and aunts worthy of being related to them?

Keira was bouncing about aimlessly and wanted to see other soquili. She has seen some passing by but they look so boring. She didn't want to associate with those that weren't worth her time. The little filly continued to move and look around at the same time. Then she spotted a dark mare in the distance. Hm. Did she have the same mane color as she did? Raising a brow, Keira began to approach Loveless. Little did she know that she had a greater connection with this soquili then just strangers.

The little foal kept to the darkness of the trees because the sun was too bright for her. She could stand to wander around in it for a little but too much of it didn't make her feel too good. This soquili had the same kind of wings and tail. This was another kalona! How interesting. Keira continued to walk towards Loveless.

Staring up at Loveless, Keira secretly hoped that she would be that tall someday... someday. As she got closer, she noticed that Loveless even had the same eyes. What was going on? Why did this female look so much like herself? She stood proudly, not fazed by the older, more experienced mare. Keira's true personality was already showing itself and her father would be proud. "My name is Keira. Whose am I? What kind of question is that?" Keira spoke confidently and tilted her head at the question. "Who are you?" She watched Loveless with cautious eyes.

She had no emotions in her eyes and the glow only made them seem more eerie. That was her father's name! Keiran! Was this soquili related to her in some way? She was a tad skeptical about sharing information with this older mare. For all she knew, there could have been tons of Keirans in the world. "You have a daughter?" Keira was somewhat surprised that this soquili had children. Then again, she wouldn't have guessed that her father would have had children either. "Your father? Who is your father?" The filly tilted her head curiously and she purposely ignored Loveless's question about who her parents were.

This encounter was very strange though. Who would have guessed that she was going to meet one of her possible family members? Maybe the world wasn't as big as she thought.

Wow. She had a family. Keira's eyes go wide when she says that Ariston and Heartless were her parents. She couldn't contain the new knowledge any longer. "They're my grandparents!" Even though she would grow up a cold hearted, vain, carnivore, this showed that most foals were all the same. "Are you... related to me? My aunt to be more specific? Keiran's my daddy and Fury's my mother." Keira was so thrilled to be meeting one of Keiran's siblings. She looked up to her father and mother a lot and she was sure that the rest of her family would be just as amazing. Her pride was gleaming as she realized that Loveless was a part of her family. Keiran's sister was pretty! Now, this just confirmed her thoughts about how her family really had to be the best family there was. There was no way that any other family could be as beautiful or intelligent.

Keira was quaintly surprised and happy that she was getting to meet her father's sister. Times like this, Keira's foalish side comes out. She knew about Fury's side of the family too. Wrath and Succubus were her grandparents and apparently that side of the family was pretty kick-a** too. "That is cool! I've heard about how close Ariston and Wrath were. Wooow." She knew that her family was amazing but now she really understood the extent of it. This was only filling her pride about her family line. "It's a pleasure, Loveless. My daddy will be happy to hear that I've met you." Keira grinned happily and knew her dad would be surprised. "My other siblings are Mercy and Bloodshed." She could picture her siblings quite clearly. "Bloodshed has head things like my daddy and Mercy has head wings like my mom. Mercy also has that symbol that Keiran has on him. And Bloodshed looks like he has blood all over him!" She described the defining points of her siblings and spoke proudly when she spoke about them.

Keira nodded wildly. "You should come by someday. I'm pretty sure they would be happy to meet you." The small filly smiled proudly. "I'm the only one that has blonde hair. Daddy was surprised because him and mommy have red and black hair. He was very proud of me though." She grinned and puffed her chest out because this was only fueling her ego. Keira kind of wanted to meet Loveless's daughter but only to see who was more beautiful. Even within her own family, it was always a competition. "Hm. Daddy wants me to explore a lot so that's what I've been doing. He wants me to be independent but I do go home each night."

Squinting, Keira felt the sun coming closer to her as it moved across the sky. She edged deeper into the darkness and returned her gaze to Loveless. "What about you? What are you doing today?"

Nodding softly, Keira pondered about where she wanted to go. "Hm, I really don't know anywhere in particular. I've just been walking around aimlessly." A smile appeared on her face as she saw how Loveless wanted to help her explore. Honestly, her family was amazing. There was nothing that anybody could say to change her opinion in any way. "So, you can pick." Keira nodded once more feeling very happy about meeting Loveless.

She had heard about how her grandmother stayed within the shadows all of her life. Keira gladly embraced this 'gift' but she did want to see more of the world. She wasn't sure how Heartless stayed in the darkness all of the time. "I'll do my best." Her eyes weren't as sensitive as her grandmother's and since she was still young, there was still time to train herself. The little filly stepped closer towards the light once more so that part of her body was being hit by the light streaming through the trees.
