Players Scyeth & Sasha
Setting Hyuani Food Court; Early afternoon; Weekend "Uhhmmm...." Alexander lagged in the line for McDonald's, not exactly sure what to order. He knew roughly what they offered, but with it in English it was a little more challenging. He didn't want to order something weird like fish. Fish sandwiches were just never a good idea at any fast food chain. His grey brown eyes fell from the menu and hit the cashier who was giving him the stinky eye, hoping he would hurry up and order. Looking behind, he saw the line was starting to pile up.
"Uhmm uhmm! I'll have--" What was a Bic Mac? Well it was the first "combo" whatever that was and that meant it had to be popular, right? "I'll get uhh a Big Mac combo with uhmm water..." He took out his wallet and handed her a five dollar bill and quickly ushered himself to the side, ignoring all the looks he was probably getting from the other customers. His dull nails tapped rhythmlessly on the counter as he watched and waited for his to be prepped and bagged. He thanked the girl extra sweetly and sped away as fast as he could without actually running.
Sasha found an empty table and sat down, inspecting his meal and praying he hadn't doomed himself. He took out the fries and set them down and opened the carton that held his burger. Jeez it was kind of big for him. He hoped he could finish it all, Alex hated people who wasted food. There were people starving in the world who would gladly have it! Grabbing a fry, he splattered a napkin with some ketchup and began chowing down, trying his best to keep the ketchup and dressing off him and in his mouth.

Scyeth was bored. RuiZhi was off somewhere, Scyeth could only assume his boyfriend was at class. He was a good student, you know? It was a pretty safe guess. He hadn't run into Weiyuan while he was wandering around either; now, he was bored. So the blond decided to head to the mall. If nothing else, he might find those girls he met the other day when he was at the mall with Al. They were fun to talk with. They were all over him; it did wonders for a boy's ego. (And now he had his new uniform on! It would be a great day.)
And that was when he spotted Little Russia. It took Scyeth a moment to recognize the other student in the mall, but, yep, that was definitely him. The blond tipped his head to one side and smiled. He trotted up to the kid and slid to a halt, leaning on the chair across from the small student. "Hey, Russia," he purred. It didn't even occur to Scyeth finding out the boy's name might be a good idea. "How you been?" It was good to be friendly first. He could thank him after!

Alexander looked up at the voice in front of him and almost dropped his fry from his gaping mouth. Oh gosh, it was that scary guy from a few nights ago! "Uhhh..."
What was he supposed to say? The blond seemed to be in a good mood, well a better mood at least. He tried to smile peaceably and undoubtedly failed, looking like a terrified deer. "F-Fine, I guess..... Ehmm, you?" Sasha brought his drink up to his lips to quench his suddenly dry throat.

Scyeth blinked, not entirely sure why the younger student looked so panic-stricken. What? He hadn't done anything to the small boy! Asked him for his shirt. That was all! Jeez! Scyeth blinked again and tipped his head to the side, trying to keep up the friendly smile. "I'm good, I'm good," he mused, watching the Russian with keen interest. Huh. Well, better to not kill the kid with fear, he supposed.
"So, I just wanted to thank you," he said, smiling again. His blue eyes sparkled and then he realized the kid might not know what he was talking about. "For the shirt, I mean. That was important." He meant it, too. Not that Little Russia would ever understand, but still.

"Oh..." Alexander leaned back in his chair and smiled pleasantly. "You're ehm welcome..." He took another bite of his "Big Mac", smearing thousand island dressing across his cheek. Ugh he was out of napkins, doing his best to chew and swallow, he fumbled fr something to wipe his mouth with. "Uhmm do woo ha a napin?" Eventually, Sasha just used his hand.
"So uhmm... what are you doing here?" It seemed odd asking someone who has probably been here many a time when this was his first encounter with a "mall".

Scyeth chuckled quietly, smiling at poor little Sasha's plight. "Uh, nope, sorry." He had just gotten here...and wasn't much a fan of napkins himself. He shrugged and shook his head, looking around the mall before looking back at Sasha. "Oh, I dunno," he answered truthfully. "I was bored. No one was around. You can always find someone interesting at the mall, yanno?" He found Little Russia here, didn't he?
"Oh!" He hadn't introduced himself, had he. "My names Scyeth," he said, extending a hand for a shake. "Scyeth Akazar. Student of the Science and Technology uh...department." He frowned a little, wondering if he said that right. Oh well. Whatever. "And you are?"

"Ohhh..." This was his first time at a mall, he hadn't really known what to expect. It was a bit shocking to find that anything you wanted was all in one place; very overwhelming. But he liked it so far though he was sad there was no Moroccan cuisine. Was a pigeon pie too much to ask for? The only draw back was all the crazy girls. Weiyuan had warned him about them, that they'd tear him apart if they got their hands on him. Sasha shivered at the thought.
"Uhmm my name's Alexander Ivanova, but you can call me Sasha..." The little boy finished off the last of his fries and started gathering up his trash before looking back up at Scy. "Uhmm well.... I'm uhmm going to look around a bit. This is my first time at a mall so..." Yeah.

Scyeth frowned when Sasha didn't take the offered hand, but whatever. Who knew? The kid might be socially stunted. Hell, heavens knew Weiyuan was. Anyways. "Sasha, huh?" Scyeth grinned and shook his head. "Almost as good as Little Russia, eh?" The boy seemed so young in comparison, how did that even happen? Huh.
"If you're going to look around, you're gonna want someone to come with you." Scyeth just invited himself with a wry grin. "You know. To fend off the crazy girls." The blond was pretty damn good with the mall girls, he had to admit. "Besides. I can keep you from getting lost."

Getting up form his table with his trash, he watched Scyeth with a scared look, his grey-brown eyes big as dinner plates and his little mouth pulled into a soft pout. "Why has everyone said that to me?! What's wrong with them?" Why were students allowed to come here if it was so deadly? He didn't think he'd come back again.
Alex threw his trash away and stayed close to Scyeth, not really wanting to get attacked by ravenous she-devils. "I don't need to get lost either..." He agreed softly. This had been a dumb idea coming alone. Sasha was truly happy Scyeth had spotted him before he had gone adventuring.

Scyeth shrugged. "I dunno. Maybe 'cos they think the girls will maul you? They like cute boys." The blond shook his head. "I don't think there's anything wrong with them." He paused to preen. They had adored him, after all. "Besides, I know how to handle girls. You'll be fine." It was probably Weiyuan, that told him that. After all, he knew RuiZhi didn't like the mall so much, so maybe his brother wouldn't, either...oh wait, there was that- Nevermind.
Scyeth chuckled and ruffled Sasha's hair. "I'll protect you," he reassured. Why did this feel okay, actually being nice to someone? Oh well. He'd live. "So, where are we going again?"

"Maul?" He wasn't sure what that meant, but it couldn't have been good. Alex walked a little bit closer to Scyeth. "Thanks..." He said pathetically.
Sasha submitted to the hair ruffling passively, albeit a slight glower across his round face. "Well uhhh...." He hadn't thought that far on his adventure today. Where do you go in malls? It seemed they had a shop for every need here. "Well--Well! I need uhh like s-snack foods for my uh room..." If that wasn't the worst lie ever... "D-Do they have like a food store here?" They had a food court, they may as well have a grocery store.

Scyeth ignored the glower. It was kind of nice, having someone to protect. Oh sure, he had RuiZhi, but his boyfriend was pretty self sufficient. But this one didn't even seem to know what was going on. Scyeth could show him the ropes. Make him his own. "Oh, snacks?" Syceth tipped his head thoughtfully. Why hadn't he ever thought of that?
"Good idea," the blond purred, petting Sasha's head. "I bet the convenience store has some good snacks. And probably pretty cheap, too." After all, students were pretty notorious for spending as little as possible. "It's just down this way," he said, turning down one of the corridors. "What kind of food you want?"

Ugh! Alex tried his best to escape the insufferable petting and ruffling. He wasn't a dog! Even his brother didn't molest him this much. He tried to keep ahead of Scy so he couldn't get his hands on him, though he didn't exactly no where to go. This was quite counterproductive.
"Ohh uhh well..." This was a delicate subject. Should he just tell him? "I uhmm...... okay, this sounds weird, but I swear it's true okay? Uhmm...... Our room is haunted by a demon and if we don't appease him with granola bars, he gets mean and messes up our room... sooo .... yyyyeah...."

Scyeth halted in his tracks and gave Alex an incredulous look. "A demon? Are you sure it's a demon?" he asked, scowling. Having another demon in the school just wouldn't do. "Are you sure it's not...a ghost, or a spirit, or something." It wasn't like Scyeth knew much about his own kind, but, uh. A demon haunting a room sounding very strange to the youth.
"...how'd you get a demon?"

"W-Well it sure acts like a demon!" Alex countered defensively. How was he supposed to know what it was? "It's like an old wives' tale in Russia..." He started explaining more calmly, a little nervous after seeing Scyeth react so passionately. "Every like... house is supposed to be guarded by a Domovoi. If you move you're supposed to invite it to come with you, but I mean... no one believes in that stuff. So... when my brother and I moved to Shinkami it..." The little Russian's voice softened, he didn't really want passersby hearing this. "It followed us. It was angry with us that we had moved without it. How dumb is that?! Anyway, so now we have to feed the stupid thing or it gets angry...."
"I'm not asking you to believe me, but it's the truth..." Sasha sniffed indignantly at Scy and kept walking, not really happy with the expression his friend was giving him.
