 Emitting a soft sigh, Adelaide closed her eyes, tilting her face towards the sun. Everything seemed so blissful right now - summer was coming, and with it came glorious, sunny days. Still, there was the constant nagging feeling that she couldn't get rid of. Lately, she had found her urge to discover her past - about herself and those in it - growing stronger day after day.
It was a troubling matter, to say the least. While she wanted desperately to know what happened that caused her amnesia in the first place, at the same time, she didn't want to know. What if she were to learn that all her old friends had left? Or that she had no living family left?
Folding her wings against her back, she opened her eyes again, her ears flattening slightly. 'Is there anyone who might recognize me? Someone I knew before?'

 The wind...The soft, light breeze carried a sweet an familiar scent, and a winged, bizarre looking fafner lighted down, tapping onto the grass lightly.
The scent was close, and Reverie was about to smile. This scent was only carried by one friend she knew...It must have been a fellow winged one, most likely to be from Hreidmar. Continuing to follow the scent, Reverie stepped before a white fafner, who turned out to be Adelaide, one of her best friends from her childhood. It's been so long without her, but she was right here before her now....Nothing could go wrong right? She smiled, and hopped over to hug one of her best friends. "Adelaide, it's been a while!! Where've you been, I was so worried...!"

Her ears pricked up lightly as she heard the sound of approaching feet. Turning, she tilted her head slightly at the sight of another Fafner - another winged Fafner to boot. A small, polite smile spread over her face as Reverie approached, but her eyes were troubled. Something about this Fafner...seemed familar. And yet, she couldn't recall anything.
Her panic only rose when she was greeted so warmly by Reverie. Ears flattening again, Adelaide, averted her gaze. "I..." Hesitating, she turned to look at her, her voice wavering a little. "I...please forgive me rudeness but...do I know you, miss?"

"....'Miss'...? Ade, did something happen? We were best friends! It's me, Reverie, you know....From a long time ago...." Reverie gave Adelaide gave her a confused look. "Ade...Did something happen to you...?"

"...It's hard to explain." She murmured, resting her head on her paws. She was silent, but spoke up again after another moment, "I can't remember anything about my past." Adelaide admitted finally. "Nothing at all - not even about my family." Looking pained, she closed her eyes.
"I'm sorry, Reverie. I believe what you're saying - something in me tells me that you were a dear friend of mine - but I can't remember anything else."

"I....I see. She hung her head over to her side, looking away, but cheered up in an instant. "Well than...If you can't remember...I'll help you then. I don't know how, but one step at a time." She smiled, also adding a bit afterward. "Don't worry. I haven't suffered from memory loss...But I know your pain...I'vee felt it before...." Giving another bright smile, she got up and shook her wings. "Well then...Maybe we should go ask around or somehting?"

Looking startled, a grateful look replaced the upset one on her face. Smiling almost shyly, she stood up as well. "Yes...yes, thank you. That'd be wonderful, Reverie." Her lavender eyes had lit up as she stretched her wings. She had finally found a friend - someone who had known the 'old' her.
"Do you know anyone else I knew?" Adelaide asked hopefully, "Or if I had any family? Siblings?"
[[ Since it might be important for this RP, Adelaide does have a brother (who I hope to get for a friend soon). XD He's the complete opposite of her color-wise though. Black fur, and everything that's purple/lavender on Adelaide is gold on her brother. ]]
