This is good. Quite an interesting story, and how you're doing it is very very interesting, the only things I can pull you up on are some spelling errors and some grammar errors and maybe the first post being slightly too big, but other than that, it's quite good.
On the first post issue, literally, just shrink it down a bit, because if someone has their favourites bar up, the page is stretched, so, sort that out and it'll be great.

I agree with Richy. While there are a few things that need fixing, this is a really cool idea and I hope you keep going with it.
Props on also giving a little bit of credit to the original sprite artists... although names might be better.
