Farai was, once again, out on his own. He'd found the demon pride, with Ezusu's help, and ... after being chased away that first time, he'd been more cautious. After parting ways with the dark-colored cheetah, he'd approached more carefully... and had watched the pride for a few days before heading back toward Xibalba's domain.
On the way, he had met yet another female cheetah, which was odd, but ... ah well. Now, he was leaving again - to do more spying, gather more information. He didn't so much mind doing this part...but he was starting to wonder why he always went back.
Likely... because he had nowhere else to go.
Heaving a sigh, Farai stopped and flopped down on a flat rock, eyes lidding as he rested for a while. He really should ... decide what he was going to do with the rest of his life. Because... he couldn't just keep on doing this.

Agua was well bored, it was normal for her. She was now fully grown and still on her naming quest and to be honest she was bored of it. She didn't really know what she was doing and still wasn't sure how she was going to find her name but she hoped it would come to her one day at least.
In a way she was like the male she was about to come across, she had no where to go and didn't really know anyone either. She couldn't return home, not while she had no name. Oh how confusing this all was. However when she came across the blue male, there was no denying the fact that she was shocked over what colour he was. Wow, he was blue. She had never seen a lion like him!
"Hey!"
She wouldn't normally start a conversation but he was blue!

Farai jumped just a bit at the call, head coming up in a startled sort of manner. It took a moment or two for him to realize it wasn't Xibalba's voice - that she hadn't come after him to impart last minute instructions or anything like that. He relaxed a little then, and blinked at the lioness that had called him.
He'd never seen her before, and wondered... why she would be doing such a thing. Blinking slightly, he peered at her and answered, "Hello..."

"Oh did I disturb you? Sorry." She didn't really want to upset anyone. she wasn't like that she just felt somewhat lonely at the moment and really wanted someone to talk to. Apparently walking around like she had on her own was without doubt the most boring thing ever. Especially when you can't find your name!
She wasn't quite sure what to say now. She would normally start a conversation but if he didn't want her around she couldn't really just start one could she? That would be intruding on him and that would just be mean and rather harsh at the same time. Oh what to do? Well there was only one thing for it really she just stood there and let there be an awkward silence. Oh the joys!

At that, Farai blinked and then shook his head. "No ... not really," he said, with a little smile. Slowly, after meeting a couple of cheetahs a little while back, he had started to get over his mistrust of females. Perhaps Xibalba was more of an exception to the rule. Rather than the other way around.
Still, though, he was careful. And when this female said nothing else for a moment or two, the dark male blinked again and tilted head. "Ah did you ... want something?" he asked, ears going back just a bit - as he was also aware of that awkward silence.

"Erm... well..." She let out a soft sigh and decided he was willing to have a conversation and that was good enough.
"I am bored to be honest, I haven't met anyone for such a long time. I want to just talk to someone I guess. If you don't want to though of course I can just leave." Of course she was being herself, she wasn't the most self confident person.
"I am Aguadamu by the way."

Farai listened as the other spoke, ears slowly coming forward again. Talking wasn't so bad...and there wasn't any way that Xibalba would come and "catch" him with this female. Not that he should be worried about that anyway. He was an adult! Didn't he have a mind of his own?
Shaking his head a bit to dismiss those thoughts, he smiled slightly. "A pleasure to meet you ... I'm Farai." He never really bothered to give his full name anymore... it had been a long time since he even heard it spoken - as Xibalba didn't much like it.

"It's nice to meet you Farai." She smiled and lowered her head in a polite respect to him. She did it to some and not others but as she was feeling slightly social she thought she would at least try and make some sort of effort.
"Do you live around here?" She thought it would be a good conversation starter especially as she didn't really live anywhere at the moment. She belonged to her pride but lived well, where ever her paws took her. It was an unpredictable way of living but then she had a name she really did have to find at some point!

Farai's ears flicked back just a bit at that question, as he tried to decide how to answer. In no way did he want to admit that he still lived with Xibalba... but if this lioness didn't know who she was, then there was no way she could guess such a thing.
"Close to here," he replied, tail tip twitching just a bit. Now to come up with an excuse as to why he was out here in the first place... He doubted that this one would believe he was searching for a familiar. "I was just ... out hunting. What brings you this way?"

"Hunting sounds good! Oh that sounds like a good idea as well, I am starving!" She smiled happily as she flicked her tail. She didn't really want to explain everything to him about her pride and the quest. It seemed to always confuse people and so it seemed like a good idea to just leave it.
"I was just wandering. Exploring as it were and things. Though if you were hunting, would you mind if I joined you? I am so hungry!" She smiled softly, letting her personality properly shine through.

Farai blinked slightly and almost regretted using that as an excuse. For most lions, it was easier to have a partner (or more) to join in the hunt, but he usually preferred hunting alone.
Ah well ... the words were out now, and she seemed friendly enough, so he bobbed his head slightly. "I wouldn't mind at all," he replied quietly, with a faint smile of his own. It wasn't hard to tell that she really was hungry - and having met the other two females recently, he was more inclined to like her.
"There was a small herd of antelope over that rise a day or two ago... they probably haven't gone far."

"Oh that sounds great!" She smiled, looking incredibly happy. She was so hungry!
"Lead the way then Farai! Oh what luck I had finding you!" She smiled happily. Oh it was so good to go hunting and with someone else, oh yes this was going to be good!

Farai couldn't help but smile at her obvious enthusiasm and he stood up, then stretched just a bit before jumping down off his rock.
"All right... follow me, then," he replied, glancing around for a minute before taking off in a particular direction. He knew where the herd had last been. Now it would just be a matter of tracking down where they had moved to since then.

"Yay! Lets go!" She smiled and trotted after him. Food!!!
"Do you like hunting?" She always wondered, she knew that some didn't just because it was more of a chore. She loved it though, sometimes anyway. The thrill of a chase and then feeling the life drain away in her jaws. Yeah she loved it alright.

Farai seemed a bit startled at the question at first, then he blinked and thought about it for a moment. "I never really thought about it before... but I think that I'd have to say, I do," he replied - with a slight smile.
There was just something about the tracking and then the hunt itself that was wonderful, in a way.
