The toy store every kids dream to be, except for one lonely little boy who couldn't get his tentacle to release the barbie doll package it had just picked up. He couldn't be seen holding onto a Barbie! He already didn't feel manly enough as it was and this was not helping him. Jayoku wasn't far off talking to a sales representitive agruing over the price of a swimmer's floaty ring.

These were the rules Mareike had been given before beign released into the toy store. It might be that she was here to get herself a treat for showing progess in her lessons but she was not going to be given free reign that Nickle made sure of.
Nevertheless Mareike was happy to be there, particularly she when she spotted an old friend. " Adriel"

Adriel froze, looking over to the familar voice with dread. No! THey couldn't see him with this toy in his tentacles grasp! But...as if on cue the tentacles released the toy and both turned towards the voice. Like eager puppies wanting to meet a new friend they reached out longingly for Mareike.
Giving an awkward wave he felt compelled to head over to the girl...maybe it was because his tentacles were reaching so much he was actually being pulled along.

Mareike grinned and walked towards Adriel who seemed as eagar to see her again as she was of him. " Are you getting a special toy too?" She asked as she reached out towards one of his tentacles. They really were so fun to play with.

Pleased to recieve the attention from her each tentacle fought for the right of the petting. Adriel tried hard not to stare at his apendages...they were being very strange.
"Um...no..my mom wants to take me swimming..but..I can't seem to find the right floaty.." He explained feelng a bit embaresed by using the word floaty.

" What's a floaty?" Mareike had yet to swim this summer and as such was unfamilair with the devices used to do it. " A swimming toy? Like a rubber duck for the bath?" Mareike did like bath toys and they did float mostly.

Adriel blushed some as his apendages butted against Merieke's hand more. THey loved to et the attention from her it seemed.
"Um...well kind like things you put on your arms so ...you don't sink like a rock." He explanied...as best he could. That was how Jayoku explanied it....

Mareike obliged the tentacles and began using both hands to pet them. They were really friendly, even moreso than the boy they were attached to who seemed really shy.
" oh.. I wouldn't like to sink." As it was Mareike liked baths but hated having water poured over her face. Sinking would probably be just like that

Adriel nodded his head in agreement. "Yeah my mom sys sinking is bad...you could drown." He continued moving a bit closer to the girl so his tentacles wouldn't pull so much. They were having a blast and if they could purr they probably would be at this point. They weren't even trying to do bad things to her.....they just wanted her attention it seemed.
