about how she ignored a jewish holiday when setting up stephenie's visit to VA, and requesting that she come back again, only nicer and more elaborated. and she basically slapped me in the face. she said that she saw my problem, but had many other requests going in, and sm wasn't going to do any more touring anyway. so she basically brushed the whole issue aside. whatever happenned to the importance of minority religions like, uh, mormonism?
and looking at the newer tours, it's never going to get any better. i mean, oe book per fan, and no conversation? what made Twilight fun in the begining was the inside jokes and the personalness of it all. and now it's like, "ok, i sign ur boox, i make u happy, wut mor do u want?" it's so STUPID!!

I really understand where she is coming from. You can't make everyone happy when you plan a tour, or when doing anything for that matter. Not everyone who wants to go will be able to. This doesn't really have anything to do with religion. I understand your disappointment, but this is not an attack on you.
Again, it's disappointing, but such is life. Can't always get what you want.

shadowgrl7 in a way it was better when not everyone read it, more like a secret club sweatdrop I do agree with that...but it was good when other people read it only because that meant that I could talk to other people about it...(this was before I found this guild of course....) But it was a bit kool when everyone else hadn't read it yet...

Like everyone has already said, she wasn't "slapping you in the face", she just honestly has alot going on, with the new tour for Breaking Dawn coming out, all of the movie publicity stuff, and so on. She probably did not realize the event was scheduled on a holiday, or there was no other possible day that that event could take place. Besides, to plan an event takes alot of time, money, and effort. Too much so to do at the last minute after the fact to redo an already done and over with event. Honestly, with all that she has on her plate, it is nice of her to even reply to all or most of her fan requests and e-mails. Give her a break. And it is not her fault if Stephenie Meyer would rather spend her time writing more books for us to read than redoing some of her events and touring. I am sorry about your dissapointment, but such is life. I can't go to an event because none are in my area and my parents don't have enough money or time to travel with me to a place that is having one. I just have to suck it up. I have my books, and I have my computer to look up Twilight stuff on the internet, and that is enough. Que sera sera. Life goes on. It is not the end of the world. And I end my little rant.
